Morning everyone!
I'm up....went to Curves last night & this morning. Last night I had an annoying gal working out next to me. She kept doing Tae Bo moves on the recovery steps, pratically kicking her legs near my head & then half way around Ms. Tae Bo takes a spill....twisted her ankle. I know this is terrible, but my initial thought was "Serves you right"...but then I stopped my workout & helped her. Even though I really didn't want to. This morning nothing fun happened, it was just me & the 2 gals that work there.
I did get to scrapbook some last night! I got 5 pages done...not bad for one night.
Pearsy - hope the puppy gets better asap!
RN - great job helping that girl!
Sarah - my TOM does the same thing, I'm thinking my pill isn't strong enough.
Chipper - I had a neighbor (when I was younger) burn one of my dogs for barking. Lucky was in the rabbit barn, not loose. But he came onto our property & poured something on him & it burned his skin & his fur fell out. What a jerk. Hope your neighbor gets a life!
Well I must go...see you gal later!

OK so I have shopping fever. It's gorgeous outside and I have nothing to wear for spring/summer because I've dropped so much weight. So, change of plans. I'm going to Kohl's (again) after work today because they still have sales and I'm getting $56.00 worth of clothes with my store credit, teaching piano at 5:30, then running at 6:15 when I get home. It won't be dark yet, and Dad (the meteorologist) says that it shouldn't be severe weather yet.

Can you believe we're going to have severe weather again already? Dad says a "squall line" is coming through here in the middle of the night (again.) He thinks that most of the bad stuff will be high winds and large hail, but it definitely could produce tornados, and after us getting nailed with two F2's in the same 6 hours a couple of weeks ago, I'm definitely going to be prepared to hit the dirt if need be. Looks like another sleepless night, and we'll have school tomorrow unless Springfield gets demolished again, so let's pray for school tomorrow. FEMA just decided to help us, two weeks after the last one happened.

Well I need to spend my lunch looking at Kohls.com and figuring up what all I can get with $56.00. Talk to you girlies later!

Thanks Ladies

For all your thoughtfulness & support you given us. Sorry for venting, but I just needed to this morning.Well they did fix the old radiation machine and a new one is coming & in use on Monday,so things are looking up.My DH got his first radiation treatment today and will have the chemo treatments on only on Fridays.

The doctors finally talked to us and told us that his cancer is curable, and the treatments will be light. They don't believe that he will have any nauseousness or hair loss due to the lite radiation & chemo.

Just finished reading some of your post. YIKES!! I hope I didn't give the impression that no one knews about the cancer. We told our family & friends right away but my DH didn't want to tell them that the treatments were delayed a week.

Thanks again Hugs BB

Weezle - Hope you don't get the bad weather tonight. It's already really windy and starting to rain here. The bad stuff is supposed to hit here in a couple of hours.

BB - Good news about DH. I'm sure any good news is welcome!

Jana - Hey girl. Be safe in this weather. It's really scary. It's super windy here already and we only had 1 little shower earlier today. What you get in a few hours is going to build and come through here in a big "squall line" in the middle of the night. Hopefully everyone will remain safe and undamaged through it all. Still awfully early to be having such horrible weather. Be careful!

don't know if anyone is near a Hecht's but Macy's bought them out and they are having some crazy 90% off sales!! With all the weightloss going on this board, it's a great time to get some in between sizes. I spent $50 and got $500 worth of stuff

Just popped in to see what's happening.

Weezle & Jana, keep safe tonight, I hope it's not too bad! Weezle, leave some good stuff at Kohl's for me!

BeachBum, I'm so relieved to hear the Dr. believes your DH's cancer is curable! I sure hope life gets easier for both of you real soon.

Hi to everyone I've missed -

Cottage, don't worry. I bought two pair of running shorts, 1 pair mesh running pants, one athletic t-shirt, a belt, and a pair of jean shorts. There's more left for you and there are some sweet deals! If I had unlimited resources, I would have bought the whole place.

So humidity changes how far you can run, I have recently learned. Yesterday it was 45 and low humidity, and I ran 1.5 miles. I was winded, but otherwise ok. Today it was 69 and 70% humidity and after my 10 minute mile, I was gasping for breath and had to walk the last .5 miles. Sucks.

Well, I have ww pasta on the stove. Need to eat something since I haven't eaten in 4 hours. You girls have a great night. Pray for us in the midwest. We may get rocked again.
