Morning Chicks - thank you for the welcome yesterday

Way to go MsCrockett!!!! That's a great way to start the day.

Not much going on here today. The baby was up every 45 minutes last night and my eldest woke up with an ear infection.....I'm telling you - the fun never ends On the upside I stayed OP yesterday with my eating and I remembered to bring my water to work today.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning, Chickies~~

That's tea in the cup, btw...Twinings Darjeeling with splenda and lf milk. Had 2 scrambled eggs and 1 slice of ww toast with a wee bit of butter for breakfast.

It's SOOO ugly out...Schatzi, I say we Chicks just fly South for the winter. Acapulco sounds good to me! go away....

Crock-- on your 3# loss. WTG, girl!!

Ruth, just reading your post made me want to go sit down and take a break! And I'm already sitting! Hope you have a good day. Stay safe! Glad Hershey's in fine fettle and you'll have her around for years to come. We're just waiting for the IRS check to arrive so we can get Her Majesty in to be spayed. Hopefully that will put some weight on her. She's gotten kind of thin lately. Vet says it's probably due to false pregnancy. I've been supplementing her diet with an egg and full fat yogurt every morning to see if that helps, but so far, it's only helped her maintain.

Everyone else--Hello!!

Good morning, everyone! I made it to the gym yesterday and feel so good now. Dinner was pork tenderloin with rice for DH and Brian and cabbage for me. We all had broccoli too. I'm going simple again tonight with hamburgers on WW buns (lettuce, tomato, 2% swiss) along with deviled eggs, overnight slaw and corn on the cob. I know you can't have corn very often but I wanted to make it as a treat (and the grocery store didn't have good looking fresh brussel sprouts, asparagus or green beans so I just needed to grab something).

SunLit ~ It sounds like that "nutritionist" doesn't have a clue what the SBD is all about! Don't listen to her, this is about the healthiest way of eating there is. She needs to go back to school and learn something this time.

Good Morning, Batmomm2000. Enjoy your dinner with your friends tonight!

Kelly J. ~ ! Too bad your little ones are sick, I've been there!

Mamacita ~ Boy, your waiting for your refund, and we haven't even filed yet! I'm still waiting for my W-2 from my employer, but he promises I'll have it by next week.

Well yesterday i got pulled by the undertoe off my towel and had a feeding frenzy all day. Pms and my schedule is all thrown off because the kids are off this week from school. Love them, but looking forward to calmness when they go back next week. Hoping to do better today, at least that is my plan. Hope everyone has a beachy day.

My primary care doc seemed to think it was fine, so I'm going to go with her, Schatzi!

The nutritionist called the glycemic index a "fake" calculation, with unreasonable portion sizes. I went to her because she was listed as a diabetes specialist, even though I'm not diabetic, only insulin resistant. I am mourning the loss of my $25 copay.

Morning everyone.....busy busy today! I just got my AVON order in yesterday, so I have to go through it & make sure nothing is missing. I did check out the stuff bunny (I got it for my niece) it's too cute - I can't wait to give it to her! I'm wearing my pedometer - 150 steps so far this morning (I just got up about 30 mins ago - so not bad)
No time to post to every one individual - but I wish all of you a great OP day!
Weezle - hope you're feeling better!

Good Morning Chickies!

Ruth - you are one busy lady!

SunLit - I really don't like it when ppl lump SBD in with Adkins. My doctor had the ~nerve~ to call SBD a 'fad diet' when I told him I wanted to start it. It is so frustrating sometimes.

Today feels like a good day. I had a good breakfast and although I left the house late, I still made it to work on time. I've already had 1/2 of my daily water and it's only 9.45! It's the small things that make me happy

I'm still thinking about going back to P1 for a few days to get rid of all the bad carb cravings I've been having. I think it would be the best way to refocus and stay on track.

Work has slowed down a bit. My boss left abruptly at the beginning of the year, so basically I've been doing two jobs for two months. But we are very close to hiring a new department head and I can't wait.

Hope everyone has a great day!

-Anna

Well ladies, what can I say. Started out yesterday with the best intentions of curing my self sabotage woes from the day before, hitting the gym big time and calling it a day. I think I am getting sick however and after a whole day of great eating I went into self sabotage mode because I was not feeling well and then got home and fell asleep on the couch. Sucks because usually I am so busy and cannot find time to fit both a strength training session and a workout into one day but yesterday I was completely clear…Well I will have to try and do something with today. I have a story to write for the paper (yuck I HATE writing) and the rest of the evening is mine. Need to get some laundry done, I think I will take it to the mat across from my gym and mutlitask. Well here is to staying OP, getting in lots of water and moving what your mama gave ya!

Jana m- Goodmorning!

Freaky – where do I sign up for that campaign lol, something really does need to be done about THOSE girls.

Mamahulk – sounds like you have a busy day girl, I am glad everything went well with the cardiologist.

Usmchoney – I will keep my fingers for your little one.

Mscrockett – Goodmorning, you are such a great girl taking care of everyone.

Ruth – I am officially sending you a retirement assistant to get all this done for you lol.

Pear – do those shakes tastes horrible? I just don’t know if I could bring myself to drink one…

Schatzi – ooooh did you say steak?

Kyemom – what happened at work? I hate those days, have you ever noticed they come in twos?

Cottage – I have no tried those muffins but I may have to, they sound yummy and lo cal so I won’t get out of hand with them.

Sunlit – the cell phone you dropped in the toilet, make sure you spray it with something sanitary before you use it lol…Some nutritionists only want to work around what they think…I think the fact that she just lumped atkins and sb together and dismissed both seems to tell me she isn’t thinking about you at all. If it were a doctor I would say listen up, but I think you should take her advice with a grain of salt.

Barb – congrats on getting to the gym. Sounds like you are doing a great job staying OP.

Lindy – it happens, happened to me last night in fact.

Good morning everyone!

I'm late yet again getting here this morning. We had a fog delay so school started 90 minutes late which put me to the office late and then I had to get the payroll going.

Last night I made the chicken enchiladinis from this site, oh my goodness were they good!! I had some for dinner with plenty of leftovers and I brought some for lunch today.

Today is a busy day for me, I'm picking the kids up from school and taking them to their hair appointments. My oldest daughter is getting her eyebrows waxed for the first time, she's in desperate need, I just hope she's ready for the pain. I've warned her but she really wants to do it. Then we have to come home, get homework done and have dinner. I put a roast in the crock pot this morning so at least most of dinner will be done. After dinner my youngest daughter has Brownies and I have to pack up all the cases of cookies so I can hand more out. I'm hoping to be home by 8pm.

I hope everyone that isn't feeling well is feeling better, that everyone that has a busy day ahead is able to get everything done and that everyone has a great OP day!

Tyra

Got sent home from work sick today. Hitting the couch. Going on 104 hours with this crap now. It can go away any time. Hope you all are better than I am.

At least I'm down to 130 right?

Hi Ladies!

Sorry I've been MIA lately. My body/brain had decided it had enough and turned off for a bit (dx - PPD). Soooo...back on meds for me - which is a good thing that it was taken care of before it got tooo out of hand. The downside (upside?) to the meds is that I have absolutley NO interest in eating. Seriously...I have to force myself to eat something. I think I may do some shakes for a while just to make sure I'm getting enough calories/nutrients.

I haven't had much energy either, but I force myself to exercise. I discovered that I LOVE weight lifting. I would do it every day instead of cardio if I could. Plus, I really do think it makes me feel better - like I really accomplished something. If you haven't tried it...please consider!

Sorry to be rushing in and out, but busy day today. Live well and be happy beachies!
