Question anyone sleeping better when off sugar & flour

I have a difficult time staying asleep and getting up in the middle of the night and eating. I was wondering if anyone noticed they're sleeping more soundly once they have stopped eating sugar and flour products. And how long after those products were stopped did your sleeping improve?
I'm back on a combination of south beach and weight watchers and just yesterday stopped eating those 2 things and I'm hoping this will improve my sleep and consequently my weight loss. Thanks

I didn't notice any difference, but then I've suffered insomnia since I was at least 5-6 years old so I'm probably not the best example!

Yes I've noticed that I sleep much better without all the sugar and white flour. I have also noticed that my allergies and sinus problems are better. I'm thinking that may be why I am sleeping better because I am breathing better.

Yes, I am sleeping better, and since I quit snoring--my husband is sleeping better too!

Me? I'm sleeping worse - I have to pee all the time! But that's SLOWLY going away. And the other night I had a dream about eating a snickers. Yeah - I'm strange.

Ooo - I wish my allergies and sinus problems would get better! Sadly, no sign of improvement there.

Thanks, everyone for your replies. I've been trying to get off of sugar and flour and hving a hard time. I feel so cranky and deprived.
I need to find out if keeping sugar and flour out of my food plan will help my sleeping and I'm trying to get a few days without that stuff but i"m not doing very well.
I'm going to go exercise now, even though I don't want to do it today.

Thanks
