Good Afternoon Everyone!! I got up early today.. granted it was only 8.. haha I like to sleep in. Anyway, my sister and I went to Curves today and signed up to do it, we also talked my other sister into signing up (hopefully somtime this week) I am so excited, so the rest of the morning was spent shopping for work out clothes Tonight, I'm going over to my sister-in-law's and having a movie night with her and my sister. I hope it's fun haha
It depends on the latte. Basically it's just steamed milk and espresso. If you get it with skim milk and either unflavored or with sugar-free syrup (which counts towards your daily allowance of sweets), then there's no reason on earth it couldn't be allowed on phase 1.
Hey kids. Hoo boy my neck is sore. Apparently I went sleep-walking and it didn't wake Terry. I woke up on the couch this morning. He came out and said "What time did you move to the couch?" I said "I'm on the couch?" Huh. Wonder what that was all about.
I'm feeling like a balloon today. I hate this time of the month. Trying to suck down water but it doesn't seem to be helping.
Today has been a pretty lazy day. I was supposed to teach piano, but Terry took the car that I have keys to, so I'm home with no car. Fortunately my students' parents were very understanding.
Just got done with a quick workout and am thinking about making some dinner, although there's not much to eat in the house. Hope you all are having a lovely Saturday!
heather's right about a nonfat latte but I was assuming that your boss didn't ask for the nonfat. He probably just ordered a regular latte or even worse a dulce latte or something fun. I hope I didn't ruin it for you. Starbucks just has so many elicious sounding things I can't imagine someone buying a nonfat/no sugar anything
Happy Sunday morning to you chicks. I am ready for work, cats fed, litter cleaned and bed made.
It may be Sunday but I still have something cooking........a Doctor at work is going to pierce my Belly button, today, after all I will be 50 soon. Tomorrow i am going back to P1, really.
Any one into green tea?

Mornin' chicks! Yikes, tazcat, that sounds like it would hurt! I used to have a nose ring when I was 19, it was a small gold stud. I took it out because I didn't like how people looked at me. Plus it wasn't really me, just experimenting. Ear holes are enough for me. Let us know how it goes and what kind of bellybutton ring you chose.
Yesterday I went searching high and low for steel cut oats. I didn't want to drive to the health food store so like an idiot I spent double the time going to 3 Krogers before I finally found them. As a bonus though I did find SoySlender soymilk for $1.35 with a sale and a coupon so I stocked up. It's usually $2.50. I like the vanilla in my oatmeal and smoothies and the chocolate I drink straight or put into the ricotta milkshake.
I still haven't made that spinach casserole like I've been planning for a week now. Something just keeps coming up. Maybe tonight will be the night. I'm also planning to have a glass of wine tonight since I start P2 tomorrow. The wines been calling to me !
Well, I'm off to read some more posts then off to the woods before the rain comes! Have a great rest of the weekend, chicks!
Sipping on coffee waiting for it to kick in!! We finally got rain here in Texas last night, it was lovely to hear it pouring down outside. Barb Wasn't it glorious??
Not much on our agenda for today. I shopped, cleaned, and did laundry (Pear- it isn't all done!!) yesterday in anticipation of DH being home today. I figured if I had most of that done then we could have a relaxing day together. Of course, they changed his schedule at the last minute and is already at work. I don't like the long hours he works, but it doesn't bother me as much if we can just have Sundays home together to refocus and spend time together. Oh well- the girls and I will head to church soon and just have a quiet day for ourselves.
Off and on with OP eating this weekend. Nothing too horrendous, but not as OP as I could be! I already have dinner made for tonight- Chicken Stroganoff over WW noodles, steamed green beans on the side. I actually made the crock pot meal on Friday and we wound up going to the in-laws.
Morning.... I am back on phase 1 until I can reach my stupid goal weight...I went up five pounds but all my cravings are back so I need to change that.
Pear - glad you found your oats! Here in the Seattle area, you can get it at many stores, although not always my favorite brand (McCann's Irish Oats). I can buy McCann's at Trader Joe's and at the Irish imports store, probably at the British imports store, too, though I haven't looked for it there. I think some of the supermarkets carry McCann's as well, but I don't remember for sure.
Next week is going to be a busy one for me, so I'm trying to get a little bit ahead with my schoolwork. I've just about got my Monday-morning paper finished for my social psych class. I still have some essays to read for that class, and a whole ton of reading for my geology class - midterm #1 is at the end of the week (yes, we get not one, but two midterms!) as well as other work for that class.
Monday I'll spend most of the useful part of the day driving around and traipsing about the campus with DS, picking up various paperwork and dropping other paperwork off, particularly my scholarship app. Wish me luck! If I win it, it'll be enough to pay my next quarter's tuition and books, which will leave that much more of our own money free to pay for DS's soon-to-increase daycare expenses.
Oh! And I'm getting a great bday present from my parents! I mentioned I wanted a garden but that I was short on time, and asked if they might be willing to come help us put one in as my bday present. Not only are they willing to do that, but they are going to give me some raised beds (or build me - that's more accurate)! Isn't that sweet of them? Fresh organic veggies, here we come! I think I have room for about 4 beds, 4'x6' each. Since I can plant pretty densely in raised beds, I should be able to get pretty good yields (if I can keep the snails and cabbage moths away!). Since I'm taking the summer off from classes and DS will still be in daycare 3 days a week, I'll have some time for gardening - yay!
Morning chicks. We have a lot of things planned for today, but DH woke up with a tummy ache and says he feels like he might yarf. He hasn't yarfed since he was a baby, and he has no fever, so I think he's just being wimpy. I made him some toast, so hopefully that'll help his tummy. He refuses to drink chamomile tea.
Today we had planned to work out at noon at the Y, and then do all our grocery shopping (I'm still doing Weight Watchers, but I'm eliminating all processed foods like you do on SBD, in hopes of boosting some weight loss.) We have to spend time with Terry's mom at some point, too.
I'm down a pound! Yippee! That makes 7 so far this month. I need to get as far ahead as possible because I know next month and the month after, the weight loss will be minimal. Eight more pounds to lose by March 25, and an additional 4 by May 15 (my birthday.) I actually think I can do it!
Morning everyone!!! I feel like crap today...I think it was because I was sitting beside a smoker last night. We went to have drinks with df's boss (I had water.....I was the driver!) And she sat beside me & smoked like a train....then her daughter came in & sat on the other side of me & she smokes....lucky me for being so likeable & loveable!! I'm drinking some ice cold water, so I hope that helps.
Taz - the stomach piercing will hurt!! I had mine done about 4 years ago. I like it now, but at first it was painful & I would get it caught on things. I did have a rhinestone playboy bunny head (I was about 50lbs lighter mind you!) and I was eating nachos with really hot cheese, the cheese dropped on my stomach & when I bent over the hot cheese covered bunny made an imprint on my stomach....it was a unqiue burn! SO no nachos!!
Well, I'm off to read some email & maybe scrapbook...see ya later!
H-Ko thank you very much.....I grabbed the guy and we went to the store and stocked up on phase 1 stuff...we both want to lose he gained about 10 and I gained about 5.....so back on the old wagon
