Day 2 for me too.. I did good yesterday..but must add more water... I'll shoot over to the menu thread too and post todays fixins..Oops never mind..looks like that thread isn't for daily phase 1 ..

B: cottage cheese with tomatos...Cawfee w moo juice..

S: Tomato Juice.. Raw stringbeans..

L: Turkey and LLC roll ups ..Cuke and Onion salad with oo and cider vinegar...

S: Celery with Ranch dressing dippage.

D: London Broil on the Barbie.. Roasted Peppers/Squash and mushrooms/onions.

D: SF Black Cherry Jello and Coolwhip.

Can I join in?? I started phase one on 9/26?? I'm on my 9th day and have lost 10lbs now.

I was thinking about when phase one is over doing a pattern like phase 2 for one month and then phase 1 for two weeks. What do you think??

Kye: anytime Darlin' We'll set out an extra plate... but it might be Squirrel on the menu (is that SB legal?) The girls are hunting down the squirrels as we speak..but I think the squirrels are winning!

FFF: SURE DARLIN' The more the merrier! Some folks do change ups like you are thinkin of.. some don't go "all the way" :s: and do a Phase 1.5... like add some fruit, but don't add breads.. etc... WhatEVAH works Dear!

Well, it looks like Laurie's moving that menu thread. Bummer. I like the accountability so I'll post today's menu here:

Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg with l/f cheese and 1 glass s/f koolaid
snack: l/f string cheese and 30 pistaccios
lunch: grilled chicken salad
snack: s/f jello and another string cheese if still hungry
dunner: chicken breast and green beans.

Kelster...sounds good, but you still need more veggies..you would also stay full longer if you add some beans....even throw some on top of your salad...Just a word of help.

Kyemom thanks for the suggestions! I'm not much of a bean eater (except green beans LOL!) I'm going to add tomatos and cukes for my afternoon snack instead of the jello and cheese and I'll add sauteed onions and mushrooms with my dinner.

I am starting new on P1- started yesterday. Lets see how this goes :)
I weigh 203 now, WANT to lose 50lbs by the end of P2. We shall see :)

Thanks:thanks: Schatzi for the invite. I really have to get this weight off. Hopefully Phase 1 will work this time around without cheating and fall off the wagon.

Well ladies, I really blew it eatting to much of the bread products. I think I'm an addict.Will stay on Phase 1 for more than a week,as I have to stop reaching for the bread cereal,pasta rice etc etc etc.Whenever I add a new grain product to my menu I gain,even if its only 1 carb a day.

Day 1 on Phase 1

my menu today was:

B=3 lite breakfast sausage links on 1 c button mushrooms with 1/2 c 1% milk
s-2 oz l/f cheddar cheese
L=Large salald greens with cucumcber spears,carb options dress. and 1 Bosca burger.
s-v8 with celery stick
D=salad with dress, 2 skinless chicken drumsticks,1c stringbeans
Dessert-1c l/f yougrt

Having headaches right now as I guess I'm detoxing..

After 4 days of really messing up which was after 4 days starting P2, I am doing P1 for the week. I just lost it with my brother visiting and taking me to IHOP at midnight and such things.
Let's DO this!

I agree with Kelster, I like the accountability of posting daily menus. Here's mine:

B: eggbeaters w/ greenbeans and parm cheese; yogurt w/ flaxseed
L: leftover veggie soup w/ sausage; cheese stick
S: a handful of candy :( I was unprepared and stressed
D: chicken capri; mashed cauliflower; roasted cabbage
S: ricotta w/ cocoa pwdr & coconut flakes

OK, I feel like I posted this somewhere?? Why am I having de ja vu??? Sorry if this is a repost : D.

Haha! Deja Vu Vu Vu..yes darlin, there's a regular menu thread happen'n too! fer to help phase 1 and 2 folks with meal idears..I'm still gonna post my daily fixins here ! and I'm getting some great ideas to mix up my Phase 1 meals!
