Phase I Start - Oct. 1, 2 or 3
Well, to ditch my Mod Fraud title, I'm going back on Phase I. Anybody want to join me?
I promise to keep my ticker honest. |
Ruth-- I will be there with you :). I'll probably start tomorrow morning since I need to buy veggies today. I may go to the farmers market in the morning.

My hubby and I are going to start on Tuesday (10/4) so we will be jumping back onto the P1 side again with you ladies. Unfortunately I am up 12 pounds so my ticker isn't correct and he said he has gained 20 in the last month and a half. Hoping part of mine it is water weight as it is almost TOM but I guess we will see. Not having cravings but I know we have been eating very badly with everything we have been doing this last month. So P1 here we come.

Well, I'm jumping on too! I have been eating poorly and need to get back on the track. I have planned out my meals and snacks and plan on grocery shopping tomorrow.
So, sunday will be my first day on phase 1. We are going to the Melting Pot tomorrow evening. |
I am in....in....in.. I will start Monday October 3rd. I lost 40 pounds on South Beach in 2004 and have gained about 20 back... I am having one heck of a time getting back on track. This is exactly what I need.

Hey Ruthie, I'll join you. I can't start until Monday though. (have a big poker game on Saturday night LOL!) I only have 19 days til vacation, so this will really be a big help.

I'll be doing a week of P1 on Sunday, after my 2 day slimfast diet. Just a momentary jaunt off the beach then all will be normal on the sand! :)

I just got an invitation to a BBQ/BDParty tomorrow night so I'll be starting Sunday too.

I am starting over on Sunday. So a whole entire two weeks of Phase I for me! :dizzy: I will change my ticker then but as of this a.m. I am up to 277 lbs. Yucky!!! Time for me to take my power back and quit giving it up to the food. :s:

Ok, day one of a week of P1 is underway. I'm getting ready to go make some b'fast, not sure what yet! I guess once I open my fridge something will jump out at me. Don't forget to drink lots of water, ladies!

Ok, here's my menu:
Yesterday: B: Eggbeaters with spinach and artichokes, topped with ff sourcream and salsa L: Salsa Baked Chicken, broccoli, and 1/2 a summer squash S: 1 C yogurt w/ sf raspberry jello, and 1 T sf strawberry preserves; jicama slices w/ pb D: nothing, wasn't hungry S: cheese stick, sf fudgecicle Today B: mock french toast w/ flax seeds L: Salsa baked chicken, broccoli, summer squash D: Italian sausage soup. S: not sure yet How'd everyone do yesterday and what's planned for today? |
I had a strange Phase I breakfast - Laughing Cow on a red pepper and a glass of skim milk. Of course (being a Scale Ho) I just had to hop on the scale this morning - no loss! Now I'd be giving you chicks heck if you were whining about no loss after one day. :lol:
I'll post today's menu in the menu thread and try to remember to mark it Phase I. I really was tempted to have a before dinner drink last night :nono: and did all sorts of rationalization like "One won't hurt" and "Scotch has no carbs" but overcame it by cleaning my stove! Here's to a wonderful Phase I day. :) |

I'll join you on Ph1. Won't update my ticker right now but I will remove it - too scared to see the truth on the scale. I think I need to stay off the scale until the 14 days of Ph1 pass and then I'll put the ticker back. The games we play, the games we play! The menu thread is a great idea. Okay chickies!
Today is phase 1 for 'ole Kelster! I didn't start off so great as I was rushing out the door this a.m. and didn't get breakfast. I DID pack all my snacks and my lunch AND remembered to bring it with me LOL! Tonight is l/f cheesy chicken (crockpot) with green beans and a salad. P.S. Great job on resisting the beverage last night Ruth! I justified my 2 (count em 2!) glasses of wine by saying I wouldn't get any for at least 2 more weeks. *sigh* I will jump on the scale on Friday and not until then. Kel |

Today is Day 1 of Phase 1. My sister in law has been on the diet for about a month and has lost 20 pounds so far, so I thought I would give it a try. I had eggs with pico de gallo this morning and now I am munching on nuts. What are some tips to keep me motivated?

I started yesterday. I had a withdrawal headache this morning. Eeeck! I'm feeling better this afternoon after some Tylenol. I am 3/4 through my water goal of 64 ounces. Yay! I have eaten well this morning. I would say that I am still lacking in vegetables. This is a major weak spot for me. I have decided to make some vegetable soup to use as one of my snacks. I hope that helps in that area! Dinner is in the crockpot and the rest of the week is planned! I can't wait to see how the scale adjusts to the new committment! |

Your sis lost 20lbs in 1 month? Wow! Obviously she was totally dedicated and didn't cheat. Good for her. The best thing you can do is to post here and let us support you through your journey. Ruth started a menu thread where we can post our menu's daily and that really is a huge help to me. Not only can they double check mine, but I get suggestions on other meals to try. Good luck! |
AW man!! I did sop well and then I had the cleaners here and 5 hungry kids so iw ent up to the diner. I had a cajun chicken wrap on WW. sigh. I always seem to do 1 carb a day.
I will try again tomorrow I suppose. I am obviously a phase 2 kinda girl. |

I thought I was the only one who went a little haywire recently, but I'm not and I'm glad to be back! The Darling Boyfriend left today, so I treated myself to a frozen yogurt (after a romantic weekend of FOOD--why do romance and food always go hand in hand?! :dizzy: ) , and now I am back back back!! I do need to go to the supermarket though...thinking of using Peapod.com because the market near my college is too far to walk with a good amount of food. Well, it's TOM, but I don't care...i'm back ladies! let's go swimming!!! :D ;) |
Yesterday was my first day of phase 1 and it went well actually :D I ate way too much.. but it was all good. make a yummo korma curry, loaded with vegies for dinner and had some homemade hommus and cucumber sticks to keep me going.
Oh yeah.. I am a scale junkie as well... but I am down 1 kilo since last Saturday morning which is 2.2 pounds which I am very happy about. :cb:We have been riding our new bikes so much and having a great time.. I think all of the exercise is definitely a help :bike: But we are scheduled for some extremely hot weather over the next few days.. 37 degrees, so that will put a dent in the exercise tally. Sending you all motivated vibes.... |

Well today is day 2 on p1 and yesterday (with a little help from Ruth LOL!) I managed to stay op.

Can I join in?? I started phase one on 9/26?? I'm on my 9th day and have lost 10lbs now.
I was thinking about when phase one is over doing a pattern like phase 2 for one month and then phase 1 for two weeks. What do you think?? Lisa |
Kye: anytime Darlin' We'll set out an extra plate... but it might be Squirrel on the menu (is that SB legal?) The girls are hunting down the squirrels as we speak..but I think the squirrels are winning!
FFF: SURE DARLIN' The more the merrier! Some folks do change ups like you are thinkin of.. some don't go "all the way" :s: and do a Phase 1.5... like add some fruit, but don't add breads.. etc... WhatEVAH works Dear! |
Well, it looks like Laurie's moving that menu thread. Bummer. I like the accountability so I'll post today's menu here:
Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg with l/f cheese and 1 glass s/f koolaid snack: l/f string cheese and 30 pistaccios lunch: grilled chicken salad snack: s/f jello and another string cheese if still hungry dunner: chicken breast and green beans. |
Kelster...sounds good, but you still need more veggies..you would also stay full longer if you add some beans....even throw some on top of your salad...Just a word of help.

Kyemom thanks for the suggestions! I'm not much of a bean eater (except green beans LOL!) I'm going to add tomatos and cukes for my afternoon snack instead of the jello and cheese and I'll add sauteed onions and mushrooms with my dinner.
