Morning chickies!! Just runnign by while Logan is napping. He is teething again but this time I think the teeth are gonna finally pop through. It has made for a rough couple of days though and I'm pooped. I still have my tummy upset but I now know it is from the motrin that I was taking . Each day gets a bit better so I am hoping that I have not given myself an ulcer. No dairy for me though for a few days to let my tummy rest some more.

I am regrouping and restarting phase 1 tomorrow. I have taken a look at what I did wrong last month and although I didn't eat bad stuff much I did not take care of myself well. This morning I hashed it all out on the diet blog that Leanne and I have and seeing what I did in writing really opened my eyes. Stuff that I thought I was doing right or ok really wasn't when I added up the whole picture. On to tomorrow!!!

Schatzi and Ruth -- Can I just have a gushy moment and say -- I love you guys and you make my day!!! Ya'll crack my *** up and make me laugh and feel better with your energy and enthusiasm. You are a dynamo Schatzi!! thank you!!

In truth I love all of you lovely beachy keen ladies!!!!! I feel so thankful to be here with you all sharing our ups and downs. What a wonderful group we have here !!

well, nap sounds like it is over... Now where did I put the tylenol, orajel, and teething tablets????? I need a teething kit to tie to my waist so that I can keep Logan comfy and happy today. Happy boys = happy mommy .

Hugs-n-love!!!

Taramoon- Don't be too impressed. I had to plan my meals out. It is b/c of lack of planning that I am having to back to phase 1. LOL I figured if I wrote it all down and made sure I had all the stuff there, that I had no excuse!

By the way, I meant to say Welcome to the group!

Default Good monring!

Hi everyone! You all sound chipper. I have a couple of days off and I'm soooo happy. Things at work are nuts and I'm not having fun with the embroiled mess that's going on. Glad I didn't take that temporary job.

Ruth, of course water is more important than potatoes.....unless you live in the potato State. We're in the process of harvest right now. There's farms all around where I live and it is such a good earthy smell....and there's nothing like a fresh tater with sour cream and butter..................oh sorry, I lost control there for just a sec. So speaking of water, is Ramonoooo getting you a shower today?

Taramoon, you sound soooo normal! Only, I do that everyday. If I blow it during the day I continue to binge until the end of the day because I'm going to start fresh the next day....this often goes on for days. Your stats are like mine. I'm also that "tall" and my starting weight was 190, well, at least when I finally stepped on a scale, it could have been higher, I just didn't do the scale thing.....very difficult thing for me to do. Anyway, I heard somewhere that for every 7-8 pounds lost is a dress size. I was also in a tight 16, but usually just wore the extra large stretchy things that didn't have a shape. I was able to start wearing a size 8 at about a 154#. You can do this, just keep hanging out here. These chicks will encourage you, hug you and yell at you if necessary to help you get there!

soon2be, get feeling better. Maybe while you're at work you should borrow someones phone or pen or something and have a big wet slobbery sneeze. They'll probably beg you to leave!

Schatzi, schatzi, schatzi.....what to do with you??? You are a scream. So if your windows and carpets and house are clean come on down! You can pop on over to Ideehooo on your way to Raleigh can't you?

pearshape, congrats on the car thing Of course you can do this without a man! Donating your old one is so nice of you or the starving college student would be good too. Sorry about the party in your yard, yuck, I would hate that too. Don't worry about the plateau thing, just keep at it and it will come off.

djett, I bet the cookies tasted good and DON'T beat yourself up about it. Food is such an emotional thing. Sounds like you have a plan and know what you are going to do. Give yourself a hug.

Hollyhock, I would love to see your kids mutton bustin', that is such a riot. Wish them luck for me. Glad your head is around the SB diet book. Now make your plan. I sold Avon once, but the smells gave me migraines so I gave it up. Sounds like the money is better than it was 25 years ago. Good luck with it.

kyemom, 71 isn't nipply.....65 is! I'm not ready for the cold.

Tammy, rent a good movie or get a good book. Ahh, that would be so cool. Maybe Ruth would let you come over and you could soak in her hot tub. Definitely do something nice for yourself.

Well, I'm off for a run...check. Then clean the house....check. Then do laundry and ironing....check.........Schatzi get out of my head!

Default Sweet Tea

I missed your post while I was posting. Hugs to you for your sleepless nights. I used to give my wee ones a carrot from the fridge to gnaw on, it was cold and they could gum it all they wanted. Get some rest and know you have everyone's support here.

I am really making some progress on my project. I worked up the nerve to call one member on my patrol who has not given me anything for his part or replied to any of the emails. Apparently he's been too busy. He says he will have the stuff for me tonight but that means I will be creating his branch tonight so that I can have it ready to be laminated at our meeting tomorrow morning at 8 AM. I actually brought the felt to work today so I could sew the leafy part of the tree to the blue sky. Unfortunately, I am out of thread so I'm going to have to run out at lunchtime. I don't feel bad about doing this at work since I'm working tonight from probably 10 PM to 1. I do have the roots, trunk and other branches cut out and labeled but I have to pick up tan construction paper and transfer the design over to tan. All I had was yellow and that would look pretty funny! This tree is 3 foot wide by 5 feet long so it is pretty large and awkward to work with. I need to start memorizing my three minute presentation too. I will have a lot more time once this is over with. Or will I, since it's time to sell popcorn for Cub Scouts... Oh, well, I'd probably get bored if I had more time

I have hot water! I have heat! I have a big hole in my kitchen wall but Romano is fixing that as I type. I am going to take a hot bath as soon as he finishes - ALONE!

Life is back to normal - except my neighbour Moel called to say I have a huge tree down along my back fenceline. The good news is he wants the wood and will cut it up for me! I will take a walk through my woods on the weekend and will find many more casualties, alas. Yesterday's wind was quite devastating!

Tammy: Yep, it's the St. James Art Show. I live right behind St. James Court so it's crazy here. Why couldn't I live on 2nd St? My dog's been going nuts over all the activity down below but I'm letting her bark as much as she wants to....and she has the loudest most vicious bark I've ever heard. Comes in handy for a single gal living alone! I hope it annoys the crap out of the vendors below. That'll make 'em think twice before having my car towed!! Yes, vindictive but I don't care at the moment!

I spent all day grading until my eyes were so crossed I had to quit. Now it's laundry, vaccuming, and dishes. Fun Fun!!

*** Sigh *** Romano is gone (until Monday) and I've had a lovely bath. Hot water is so taken for granted until you don't have any. It was down to 55 in here so I cranked up the furnace too!

well I missed the "good mornings" so I'm here to say good afternoon. I've spent a few hours in the pool vacuuming. (ok and maybe a little tanning too-can't be ALL work).
The scale is making me a happy camper again this week. About time after having about 3 weeks of NOTHING!!! Those weeks of nothing are very frustrating.
Everyone have a wonderful weekend.

Ruth, you are smelling better!! Did you use some Avon bath products?
IMHO, Not gaining weight in the last 2 years since Harry's stroke is a huge victory!!

I am home all alone!! ??? DD is next door for a bday supper and I managed to find a friend for DS to go to, then I called hubby and suggested thathe stay in the city and hang out with friends and grab supper. Weehee.
I just had a beautiful omlet, canadian bacon and roasted red peps for supper...I rock.

Have a glorious friday night!!
