Moning chicklets!

Had a BIG m******a at dinner last night, and I can feel my body holding in the water! Gonna flush that stuff out today with lots of extra water.

I read (skimmed) the Jorge Cruise 3 hour diet book at the bookstore last night. One of the best things about that book was the fact that he dealt with the hungry heart as well as the body. The eating every 3 hours thing makes lots of sense. I sort of do that now with SB.

I have not exercised for a couple of weeks, and I know I need to get back to it, but I can't seem to get myself to do it. Any suggestions??

Kye I totally feel your pain
May I suggest Benefiber (totally flavorless and sugarfree) you can add it to any beverage (except carbonated) or soft food Coffee works
3 bean salad
and Fiber 1
and our favorite Lubricant Water
I hadn't been able to Celebrate (thanks for the new Term Weez!) for days on end and was retaining Alot. a few days packed with fiber and beans (my poor Office!) and now only did I celebrate cough cough I'm down 2!
Lil Chick you are a Dynamo!!! CAn i borrow your energy for a few days?
JEn Mmm Margarita Is Jorge Cruise the guy from the food network I like his show but the weightloss show is only ok How was the book
I always start back into exercising with a few days of stretching

Started Phase 1 (again) on Monday. Also TOM. Feeling VERY tired. Could barely get thru a 4 mile walk last night. Was supposed to do a spin class...just didn't have it in me. I just have no energy. I stopped the diet coke intake as well on Monday....broke down and had one yesterday to get me thru the day. Anyone else have this problem on Phase 1? Or is a combo Phase 1 and TOM thing?

Thanks.

Good Morning chickies,
I have been having a very hard time staying OP.
While my weight is still holding steady, I just can't seem to eat OP most of the time. I haven't been able to get to the gym either. I feel like a lazy good for nothing! It's got to have something to do with the weather! It's so flippin' hot here right now! I can't bring myself to make my breakfast, I always do much better when I take the time to make eggs for breakfast.
I sound like an excuse factory!

I want this WOE to WORK....I really want my weight in a normal range!!!

I hope you chickies are having an easier time than me!

Hi Chicks

There BACK, those little buggers are in my sink.Had to but Raid around the edges and have to use my dish washer for a while. Waiting patiently for this draught to finsh.

Going to eat lite again today. Making Tuna Salad for tonight, along with cold veggies.

Little Chick- Have a wonderful day with your grandma, and all the other thing you have to do.

Jen-Alcohol will do it,Especially in the Hot summer. Water will flush out water.Good Luck

Kyemom-Make a big pot of veggies soup, and eat 1c of soup before regular lunch & dinner meal and the pounds should drop.A little trick that I learned myself. It works.

Ko-That wonderful big congrats for your 2 lb weight loss but I rather take natural Metimucil than the Benifiber.

Have a niced ay Ladies Hugs BB

Good morning. I am always so glad when somebody else starts the Daily Chat. I've made some changes in my morning routine and am getting in here later. Thanks, Little Chick. Enjoy your kid-free few days!

Thanks, Beach Bum. I'd forgotten about the veggie soup trick! I think I'll put a pot of it on the stove this morning. I can always freeze the leftovers. Good luck with the ants. My Dad always said you could get rid of them by putting cayenne papper in their holes if you can get them to hold their legs apart! Sorry!

Healthy, did you cut out caffeine? You must also remember to include good carbs in this plan, particularly if you are exercising.

Phins, I feel your pain. Believe me, I know how rough it is. Let's both try the veggie soup trick for a while and see what happens.

Jen415, I've not been motivated to exercise either. Let's both just do SOMETHING today! I intend to do some treadmill.

CELEBRATE! WHat a great term! Kyemom, the trick with any of that stuff is to drink it down fast. I've put the plain flavoured stuff in a milkshake. It sure thickens it.

KO,poor office or poor orifice? Sorry, I'm in a silly space this morning.

Not much happening today except the furnace man is coming for the yearly maintenance and after that I'll be taking Lucy to the vet for bloodwork to see if she is ever going to go into heat and get bred again. Her last breeding was AI and she may be thinking it just wasn't worth it!

It's a gorgeous day with a cool breeze, I have laundry on the line and expect it will dry in an hour or so. It's nice to have all the windows open.

Phins, just make a big pot of veggie soup with OP veggies and have a bowl before your regular meal. I use whatever is on hand and sometimes make it with chicken stock or even V8. It's a great way to get veggie servings in there! You can add kidney beans or black beans and make a meal out of it. My DH used to call it CTF Soup for "clean the fridge:.

Morning chicks.

It's cooler here, thank goodness. Gearing up for my trip to Maine (lobster anyone???) and plan to eat lots of fresh fish, if the wallet allows!

Little Chick -- get less busy soon!

Jen -- you and I are in the total same boat! Well, for me it's been months since I got to the gym! If you are innundated with good ideas on how to get back, let me know!

Kye -- I use the sugar-free orange Metamucil. It's clumpy and grainy, but I drink 8 oz of it then another 8 oz of water to flush it down. LOL taking it helps me reach my water intake for the day!

Healthy -- my goodness girl!!! No caffeine AND phase 1? I couldn't do it. I was extremely tired on Phase 1 (as in I went to bed at 7p!). In a few days you will be over this hurdle!

Hi to the rest of you chicks. I have work to do! I am out Friday and Monday and need to finish all I can before then. Have a good day!

Hi

I just got my blood test results and they're down to normal YIPEEE!!! ,thanks to the South Beach way of eating. The only think I have to worry about is that my thyroid is acting up a little. Have to go back for another blood test in 6 weeks.

I found a mini-globe mag, that are hanging by the registers in the suppermarket. This one was called Eat More and Lose Weight.(Fat Burning Foods)and they have a veggie soup made with onions.celery, tomatoes, summer squash chicken broth and water.Eat the soup before lunch & dinner and the pounds suppose to come off. Since we still have the hot weather I nuke my soup just to get the chill out from refrigeration.

Hugs BB

hmmm. I heard somewhere that if you use fiber supplements like Metimucil that it can be bad for your "system" as you get older. Anyone else heard that before? If so, any hints on limits?
