Crap! I went down to the pub for dinner last night. I ordered fish and chips without the chips, cole slaw instead. Tracy brought chips too and I ate the damned things! I can blame it on Bob who came and sat with me - his fault! Healthy eating today.

Okay, I haven't cheated...yet! I'm having terrible TOM cravings for chocolate. And not just ANY chocolate - I really want pain au chocolat something awful! I'm glad the nearest place I know to get it is in Pike Place, which is about 25 miles and (this time of day) about 1 1/2-2 hours away! Nothing will substitute for a fresh pain au chocolat from a French bakery, so I'll have to brave it out. If you live in my neck of the woods and know of a place closer to home which makes pain au chocolate - DON'T tell me, please!

I cheated. I am on day 3 of P1 and I needed sugar soo bad that I just took the hersheys syrup and squirted into my mouth. It was just like a tsp. but still, that was a weak moment!

Louise1013,

It's your decision of course, but if I were you, I'd start over on ph1. If you don't get properly detoxed during that strict 2 week period, the program won't work nearly so well for you. I know it's just a leeetle bit, but even a tiny bit can mess things up for you, especially so early on. Not trying to lecture or anything, just offering some friendly advice. The cravings are AWFUL for the first several days, and you WILL feel like crapola, but once you get through that, it's amazing how much better you will start to feel! Better than you have in ages, most likely.

Good luck on your diet!

I didn't think we were supposed to get comments about our posts. H-Ko I know you said you weren't trying to lecture, but I sure do feel like I got one

Louise, good reminder. I'm sure Heather just forgot... I'll leave your posts in as a reminder to others, and we'll all give each other a big supportive hug.

And while I'm here, I may as well confess that I ate a large bag of chips yesterday. And suffered all night with my acid reflux. When will I ever learn!

Geez Louise, you took the words right outta my mouth!

Well, yesterday I went to Brockville and the Chinese Buffet which had gone bankrupt had reopened under new owners. Unfortunately, the food was excellent - so I'm told by my evil twin Ruthless! I am up 2.5 pounds today but refuse to change my ticker!

Ellis, Darling Girl, I'm a lot older and I've not learned yet. You'll just have to wait until I do!

My apologies - I truly wasn't trying to lecture you, I really just wanted to help you. I guess I took the "no enablers" thing at the start too literally. Forget I said anything, please.

I just ate a bag of chocolate covered almonds.

ok-I'll admit it too. I slipped. About a week ago, I finally decided what I wanted for my birthday. They have this killer dessert at my fave restaurant. It's a giant eclair stuffed with the usual custard and filled with ice cream. Then, it's covered with chocolate and whip cream.
I can write this all with no worries of cheating again because after my 3-not kidding-bites, I broke out into this terrible sweat. All of a sudden, I felt TERRIBLE and literally starting sweating.
It must have been the sugar. Or menopause hit me all of a sudden. LOL
I will not do that to myself again!
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest!

You chicks are cracking me up! I think this is the best thread ever! I love to see that even the best of us have low points also. I don't read this and have cravings, I read it and laugh because I know its not just me!

<sigh> Well, the TTOM hormones got to me! I had a sf ff chocolate fudge pudding with CW Lite for dessert last night, but it just wasn't enough to stave off the chocolate cravings. So I had another, also with CW Lite. I know I'm only supposed to have 1 a day tops, and I know I'm only allowed 2 tbsp of CW Lite a day max. I think that it was enough to get rid of my craving, at least, so I don't think I'll be cheating again - at least not for a month or so. And I don't crave chocolate EVERY month, just maybe half of them. So maybe next time will be easier.

Wednesday night on my way home from work, I stopped to pick up a few things and bought a Godiva Dark Chocolate bar. Definitely less sweet than the Hershey's Special Dark. Definitely OP (except that I ended up eating the entire bar which is probably 3 or 4 servings). Oh, well, there is a reason I don't like to keep chocolate around the house. Chocolate and portion control just don't go together in my vocabulary!
