Great question, Kimberly! I started working out pretty soon after I entered Phase 2. I had been going to the gym at work on and off again for several years. I went back to that, using the nautilus machines and doing 20-30 mins on the elliptical machine. As I read in the Exercise and Ladies Who Lift forums, I became convinced that I should be doing more. In time, I joined several classes, bought videos, and engaged a personal trainer. In a good week, where life and sleep let me do everything I want, I lift weights twice a week for an hour, do the elliptical once a week for 30 minutes, go to a Jazzercise class once a week for an hour, and do another class for an hour. I also do a pilates/yoga video once a week for 20 mins at home.
