Carroll, you can have soy milk without sugar. Check carefully, finding soy without any added sugar can be tricky. You'll need to read the ingredients, not just the label, as soy itself has sugars, which are fine. You just don't want sugar to be in the list of ingredients.

Also, some women who have thyroid problems report that consuming soy products exacerbates their problems. If you have or suspect you have thyroid issues, you may want to talk with a doctor before deciding to consume more soy.
