  • Hi Everyone,
    I am new to this site. I have not totally figured out all the turns of posting here yet. I have been on th South Beach diet for 3 months and really in the past 10 days been faithful to it. Well, I am down 20 pounds and loving it! I wanted to challenge everyone to a new 6 week goal.

    Abby's Challenge:
    1. Exercise at 4 times per week(gym, walking, jogging,etc.).
    2. Stay totally POP all 6 weeks.
    3. Lose at least 12 pounds and 1 size.
    4. Journal each day
    5. 1 positive statement about yourself each day.

    "Starts May 30th and ends the July 4th week.!! "

    Do I have any Takers. Think the reward will be a new and improved you!

    We do have a weightloss and exercise challenge going on but it's monthly. See the stickies at the top of this Forum. Feel free to join in or start your own.
  • I could do it... but I'd just change a few things to make it "My own challenge"

    I would just add that I'm NOT going to be POP on June 27th - my b'day and I'm going to start with 3 days exercise - and hope to be up to 4.

  • Hi, I am new here.
    I have just started my journey with SB and am determined to lose the weight that I have been carrying around for a very long time. I am 5'5" and weigh 176 and don't feel good about myself.
    I had tried WW, Atkins and just on my own and did not do very well. So, I am dedicated to eating differently and so far it has not been very hard. I started Phase 1 on Sunday and am trying to adapt to not eating as much and finding out that I am not as hungry.
    I hope to learn from others on here and if I can be supportive to anyone else please let me know.

    I appreciate the welcome and am looking forward to reading everyones post and sharing a little about me.
    I am going to my daughters wedding this Saturday and even tho I haven't lost any pounds so far I have lost inches. That sound strange but my clothes are not as tight.

    I have a big family function on July 4th...so, I want to show them that I am HOT and not temperature wise..haha!!!

    Mostly, I want to "show up" my DHs family...I know that is bad..but he has some cousins that are our age and we have 2 kids...and I just want to be "oh my goodness, she had 2 kids and has a body like that??" hahaha!!!

  • Sarah, how tall are you? 130 is pretty good! I can't wait to be back down to 130 .....but, 110 is what I'm 'supposed' to weigh for my height, so I'm shooting for 120! I bet you'll look great and be the talk of the get-together!
