Talking Started 4/10 - New to 3FC

Hey there - DH and I started the Beach yesterday (after having the book for almost a year and trying to "do our own thing" off and on.) I decided I need to be told what to do - because if I make up my own diet, I tend to change the rules on myself!!!

Dh and I lost over 50 lbs on Six Week Body Makeover (similar to Beach Phase 2, but lower in fat, no wheat sugar or sodium!) I just get motivated to get back on it - more restrictive etc. When DH didnt go to church yesterday because his pants were too tight - we decided to get serious. (So today is our first full day - did mostly good yesterday!)

Good to be here and hope to get to y'all!

Hey Christie -- I love your name, "Hottie In Hiding". My hubby and I strted yesterday, too. I just finished lunch and I'm dying for something sweet. But I am determined not to cheat. Excellent job on the previous diet, and good luck on this one. Keep posting!

Welcome Christy. Have a great time at the beach with the rest of us.

Deb - Don't deprive yourself of sweet tasting things...make sure to have sf jello, or ricotta cheese (with sweetner) - something to tell yourself that you have indulged that need for something sweet. Hopefully that will work instead of having the real sugar.
