I didn't like that one as much Ellis -- don't know why. Thought it was a slower read. Couldn't relate as much maybe since I don't have a twin? Goodness -- imagine 2 of me??????????

Darn, Adia (thanks so much for copying the whole list here! )...I didn't read The Guardian! What I was thinking of, though, was True Believer. I saw that one at B&N the other day and thought..."Darn, I'll have to wait at least until it comes out in paperback." I've read all the rest. Really loved The Wedding. If the offer is still open, next time one of us is in the area of the other, I'd love to borrow Guardian!

I've been wanting to do a book club for over a year now, but no one ever had time! That would be fun!

Good question nweisha! That man churns out more books that I know how to read! Perhaps taking writers under his wing?? I am reading 3rd Degree (Is that the title? I forget with him) right now...

Whew, just got back from the library with books 4-8 of Elizabeth Peters' Amelia Peabody mysteries. Can you tell that I'm obsessed? They are really fun! The only bad thing is that they don't indicate which number each book is on the cover anywhere, so I had to read the flap to find out. Of course, this meant that I learned of several developments in the storyline before I wanted to. Oh well...

I totally intended to pick up She's Come Undone, but I forgot.

Do any of you ever get this panicky feeling that there are so many good books to read and so little time?

I finished Nora Robert's Black Rose the other day and it was SOOO good! I found myself exercising on the stationary bike more so I could read it. I am definitely addicted to reading. I'm looking forward to taking my son to the dentist today because I know I can read while he gets his teeth cleaned

I never go anywhere without a book. Right now I'm reading "The Mammoth Big Cheese" by ????? and having trouble getting into it. I KNOW how to milk a cow so spare me!
I may treat myself to the latest Elizabeth George next time I hit a bookstore as there are 20 people on the Library reserved list!

Barb, I'm a reading addict too! My literacy prof. told me that there really is such a thing as a reading addiction...I believe it! I used to hide books under my desk and read during school, I use to walk while reading a book, and still read in the bathroom (of course! ). I love reading in doctor's offices...I used to have a doctor who would take about a half hour to call me in, and I got to have that break from work to read. It was heaven!

OH YES, YES, YES Laurie I agree so many books so little time.

I am currently reading Peach Cobble Murder by Joanne Fluke. It is a Hannah Swensen mystery. If you aren't familiar with these, Hannah owns a cookie shop in Minn. and is always finding someone dead some where. The other thing I like is that it has the receipes for all of the goodies it talks about in the book. I have a hard time deciding whether to put them in the library or in with my cookbooks.

I really like love mysteries but will read just about anything.

That sounds so much like me. I still would stay up and read, knowing I have to be up with the baby in the morning. I have limit how many books I get from the library because I need sleep too LOL

I just finished all three books of "The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants." I know that this will sound odd but these books are amazing. The story pulls you in and it's very deep. Everyone can identify with at least one of the girls and each book follows them through their lives, the third book follows all the way into college. The series is fantastic.
