  • I have passed on my bigger clothes to my bigger friends so feel better about that because at least someone is getting use out of them. I have only bought new clothes because I probably only need to drop one more size so I will get the wear out of them this summer and most will still look fine (some can just be worn with a belt) after that. It's just by the time you buy two changes for the gym (one in the wash, one to be worn), two pairs of jeans (ditto), a couple of t shirts (ditto), a few nice outfits for work that can be mixed and matched ...

It all adds up. I do shop at outlet stores though, so have bought $100 dressy work pants for $20, probably cheaper than the second hand shops.
  • I have lots of baggy clothes but lots of them can be taken in. Now I just need to do it!
  • We sort of tried a clothing swap on here but it fizzled out. Heck, I couldn't even give away some of clothes a few months ago to anyone on here.
  • I am in New Zealand so clothes swapping on the board is not very realistic, the freight would cost more than the clothes.
