Morning, Chickies!
LC, it sounds like you have some great plans in place for the holidays!

I have almost no shopping done, although I did get my Christmas cards yesterday...much earlier than I normally would have, because we'll be out of town for a while. I'm hoping to get most of our gifts in Europe to make them unique and special. If not, I'll be doing some scrambling to get gifts ready in time! Are you in Nova Scotia or PEI or such (time change)?
A broad, DH and I have a love hate relationship with leftovers! He eats a lot of the things I want and leaves a lot of the things I shouldn't have!

I really need to institute some sort of post-it note system or something! I only eat starch once a day, so starchy leftovers are all his, which I think he's finally figured out. Hope the steak was good, at least!
Mama, I don't think that's weird! Many other cultures eat that way. In Mexico, we had a big breakfast, a huge lunch with four courses, and a tiny dinner, if anything. I felt healthier there than I ever had (before I started SBD!).
Ruth, you have butt warmers!

Those are so fun! Sorry about the recall, though...do they have to keep the car for very long? Hope the loaner is nice! Enjoy breakfast out, hope DH's doctor visit goes well. How's your knee?
cac, sounds like a great weekend! Did you make WW waffles? DH made them two weeks ago and though they were pretty dense, they were really good!
cacmsc: welcome to another New Yorker!
Bamie, enjoy the time with your MIL...sounds fun!
Kim, the pork sounds delicious!

Congrats on the weight loss!!!
rugrats, no fair! It was 26 degrees down here in the finger lakes...you guys are supposed to get the cold weather!

Brrrrr.....
Sil, it's so good to see you!!!

Are you a doctor? Didn't realize you worked with patients. That dishwasher sounds wonderful! And congrats on the 2 pounds!
SKHerb, I know...but your day sounds dreamy!

I cannot wait to be a SAHM!

Enjoy and hope the doctor's visit goes well and isn't for anything serious!
Me:
Oy! I had a very unhealthy weekend as to my actions, not my food. I stayed up so late each night, struggling to finish my homework. I'm trying to get a ton done before we leave for Europe...only have two weeks left in the term once we get back, and I don't want to have to rush to get everything done then. I'm just exhausted, and I think I'm fighting off a cold.
With DH out of town all weekend, I had double duty with pets and just needed a nap! So I didn't get my yoga/pilates done (and I love that!

) and I didn't go to the gym this morning.

I can't go to jazzercise tonight because I have a workshop to present with a student from our office. Then I have a writing assessment at home with my case study. Hopefully after that I can work on writing up the assessment I did yesterday with my other case study so I can turn that in before I leave on Thursday.
I'm just trying to be as gentle as I can with my body because I sure as heck don't want to be sick in Europe!!!

But I hate not exercising, especially when I know I'll get very little exercise on the vacation. We're staying in budget hotels, so no gym. Lots of walking, but no weights. Oh well..

I'm definitely starting to get excited about the trip, though!
We're having sliced flank steak sandwiches for dinner tonight. Should be really good! I forgot to weigh in this morning...it's odd when I do that. Maybe tomorrow will be better? I've been bouncing around in between 230 and 232 for the last two weeks with no movement. Either Europe is going to make this a great month for weight loss, or a really bad one.

I'm hoping it's the former!
Hope everyone has a great day!
