Greetings, Beach Babes!
I am also another November 1 starter and I am looking forward to getting on the Beach and staying there. I admit that I tried to begin this week but my travel schedule threw me into horrid food situations and a bunch... well, excuses, excuses.

I've cleared most of my calendar for next week and look forward to purging myself of these intense sugar cravings before Thanksgiving and the winter holidays hit.
I've read the blue book several times (I have a first edition) and the new GFGC guide; I've also ordered the cookbook from Half.com. This weekend I will be stocking to kitchen and doing some more bulk cooking.
About me --- I've been doing Weight Watchers for two years with a few weeks here and there on ketogenic low-carb plans. I've had a lot of success with WW but now that I am working full-time and going to school full-time I need something a little different - less weighing and measuring, more flexibility but still very healthy. I think SBD is just the ticket. Outside of food, I enjoy reading, watching a bit too much television (especially my Buffy and Angel DVDs), cooking and baking, hiking and traveling.
I am really glad to be here; y'all look to be really tight group.
