I am just going to do a small goal at first - to be 176pds or 80 kgs by New Years.
That means I will have to lose 2.5kgs for the next two weeks. Then just maintain my weight while away for three weeks (I am going to a country that eats mostly rice and noodles ). Then 1 kilo per week as I shift into Phase 2. I think it is very doable!

Good vibes for everyone else's goals.

Nelie - 40 pounds in 2 and HALF months Yeah, it is way (weigh?) too ambitious but no, I don't think I'd be upset if I didn't make it. I'm more determined just to see it on the scale. Whenever I've dieted it been 255,250,249,242,239,242,255. I apparently have a subconcious fear of the 230's.

We have almost the same birthday! Yes, I will so race you! I think loser has to fly to the winner's state for a visit!

Jessica that is easy enough since I am from California originally and will actually be there for Christmas this year (San Diego area)

I have to say that I thought I had a subconcious fear of the 320's for a while because everytime I would diet, I would hit 330 and couldn't go lower. When I broke that plateau point, I shed a tear or two. I think you can do it, visualize it

What should we be lookig at for goal weights anyway...if I look at the SMI index, that seems WAY to low! So I was going to go see my dr for advice, but I''m thinking around 165...
How has everyone else come up with their goal weights? I would like to be at 199 by Christmas and 165 by my birthday in June, 2005.

I have to jump into this one. My goal weight is 130 pounds and I would like to reach goal by this weekend...however, realistically, I will probably not be there until November 5. Woohoo!!!!

By the way, if anyone wants a copy of a weight loss chart that I have please pm me. The weight lost chart not only charts weight, but keeps track of your BMI and calculates the date at which you will reach goal based on the average of your actual weight. If interested, let me know and I will send to you.

I would like to be 195 on December 12, I am 212-214 today. December 12 is the 10k race in Central Park that ends the running program I have joined. With fitday and the running I think I can do this.
