Good morning everyone. I can't believe that it is the middle of the week already. It has been a great week, so far...we are finishing up the closing on the condo that we purchase, DH bought me a convertible this week (must be that anniversary feeling), the boss was away yesterday, I finally slept really well last night (until the alarm went off at 5:00 am, but that is another story), and I have lost another pound.
Ruth - Sorry to hear that you have a cold...take care of youself and get some rest. How are your rehearsals going?
Mama - You poor thing...it is one thing to be asked to provide something that is actually do-able, a completely unrealistice thing to be asked to do something that is beyond capability. Is there a way that you can give them a choice - such as, if you want the reports on this time frame, I will need to have some slack time in drawing blood, etc...both things cannot be done at the same time? Hopefully, there will be some reason in there. Good luck.
kvixen - Hoping that everything works out with your work hours. It is so difficult to have your life organized, then have the days upset with a change in schedule...especially when you aren't the person to choose the change. Advice for your knitting? ...don't leave your balls of yarn around a cat.
amur17 - Don't worry about the difference in weight from your morning weigh-in to the Curves weigh-in. Just note that you tend to be heavier in the afternoon (makes sense after you've eaten), so that in the future you will know. I weigh myself, probably too often, and that is common. My weight often flucuates 5 - 8 pounds in the course of a day, but by morning, I am right back down. It will work, just be patient.
Heidi - It is really interesting to see the salmon swimming upstream to spawn. We have a long way to travel to watch that - you are so lucky to have that so close. Do the salmon spawn every year? I thought that they only spawned every few years, but I could be wrong.
lc - Glad to hear that the interview went well. Hoping that you get the job - sounds like something that you will enjoy. Also happy to hear that things are going better with dd. Some day, she will thank you, even though it seems like a remote possibility right now. Take care.
TXMomof3 - Thank goodness you were able to resolve the insurance claim with your disability. That also helps with the ergonomics of your work station redesign as well. But, most of all, it will prevent further injury when you are able to return to work. I hate those mice. We had one in the house one year that we could not catch. The little beggar stole the food off traps and our cat couldn't catchi him, either. Sooooo, one Saturday morning, I woke up with the thing on my pillow staring me in the face..

What insued was nothing short of a scene from a movie. DH (completely nude, of course) chasing the mouse around the bedroom with a stick, beating him to death. After that, he had to fix the screen in the patio doors and several holes in the wall.

Wish I had pictures, but by then the kids were in hysterics with all the commotion. I am NOT recommending this action, especially before a party on Saturday. The clean-up would be devastating.
Barb0522 - Thanks so much for taking the time to post the reviews on the recipes. I am not that adventurous when it comes to trying new recipes, so really appreciate that feed back. I encourages me to try new things, for which the family is appreciative. Have a great day.
anchor - Those cravings are always difficult to manage. Drink more water than usual, and when you get a craving try drinking a bottle/glass of water as your reaction to the craving. I find that when I do that, it keeps me busy with my hands and also seems to decrease, if not eliminate the craving. It might be worth a try if they are getting bad. Good luck and keep on going. You are doing so well to manage to stay OP through that.
Bamiegirl - Congrats on the weight loss. You can get the extra 6 off, too. Don't forget to count the floor cleaning as exercise

. Have a great day.
Me - Well, I am truly stiff and sore this morning. I started working with my fitness trainer yesterday and she worked muscles that I had forgotten that I own.

However, I am hoping that everything goes well and that I can tone up some of the flab that is hanging there.
Today I was able to wear an outfit that DH bought me in China. When he brought the outfit home, I looked at the size (XXXL) and wondered what size he really though I was. When I went to try the outfit on, it wouldn't even come down over my boobs it was so tight. Anyway, I am now discovering that XXXL is actually about a size 6 here. I was finally able to get it on this morning...
Hope to get some more medical tests back today. Pray that the news will be good. I appreciate all your support.
Also, we have made most of the final arrangements on the closing on the purchase of our condo. We are supposed to take possession on Friday, but will not be in Calgary until the end of the month. We also have a renter that will be moving in on November 15. Everything has fallen into place so easily and quickly. I have needed that rather than any more stress to add to what I am presently experiencing.
Hope everyone has a great day. Stay OP, you can all do it. Take care.
