Default Kavli Crispbread

Legal? I still don't know on some products...

Ingredients: whole rye flour, wheat bran, mixed cereals (oats, wheat, barley, rye, millet), water, salt

0 fat, 0 sugar, 2 fiber

What do you experts think?

I think it's fine! Go for it. I don't think I've seen it around here but will look.

What exactly is it? Cracker like? I'm sure I could find it at the local Wegmans, but I'll need to know where to look!

Looks good to me too! Is it for a bread recipe for bread machine?

Take care...Patricia

Crispbread is bigger and a little more hearty then regular saltine type cracker. Tastes pretty good. But it is a little more expensive then regular saltine type crackers-what's new right?

I picked up the Whole Wheat Kavli at the store yesterday after reading this. They are a large flat cracker. Not bad at all. My DH really likes them and they are definitely better than what he has been snacking on.

Barbara, I didn't even know they were crackers. I'll have to look for those at the store then, because I miss not having cracker on the South Beach Diet.

I found them at Tom Thumb but I think Karen (Kiko) may have found them at a different store. They have several different flavors.

Thank you, Barbara. We don't have a Tom Thumb here. Maybe I'll be able to find one here at are local stores, if not I'll check the health food store. Thank you so much! Have a great day!

I found them at a store called Market Street. If they have them at Tom Thumb, maybe they have them at Kroger or Albertsons. I will check next time I am one of those two stores. They were pretty good- I really miss crunchy food!!

I buy something similar called Wasa Crispbreads. They have different kinds from Fiber Rye to something just like this product. Just another brand name to seek out in your local store. I like putting tuna mixed with hummus (instead of mayo, same consistency) on it for lunch.

Now that I type that, that was a standard WW lunch for me. I have not done it yet on P2. But if you limit to 1-2 crispbreads and have the rest of the tuna with veggies, it should work well. The Fiber Rye is quite filling.

I'm going to see about finding both Kavi and Wasa. Are these located where they stock crackers?
