Hi Jennifer.....you know I did have the sweats so bad that I had to sit on the A/C vents with them cranked down to cool off. This happened pretty early in the am and I think the only think I had was a glass of Crystal Light Lemonade...the rest was just eggs and turkey bacon. I'm not really eating to many sweets.....just jello, cool whip and maybe one hard candy/day. I hope I don't revisit those again. I will be more aware of how many calories of sweets I eat going forward...thanks for the heads up!

Shequila, I was talking about sweets as in sugar. You can only have 75 calories of sweet types of food on South Beach. That would be about a handful of sugar free calories, depending on which one you chose. Most likely if you stick to that you won't get a lot of sugar alcohols. Now about that Crystal Light - I can have a glass every now and then, but I drank several glasses a day for 2-3 days and I had a pretty bad stomach ache. Next time I did it, same thing. It must not be too easy on the system.

That's funny.....Crystal light didn't do a thing to me. It's all I drank at the beach this weekend. Nothing.....well I will try keep a track of my sugar uintake. Thanks Jennifer!
