Question carb smart vitamins

i bought some vitamins by the One-A-Day vitamin company called CarbSmart from walmart the other day. previously i was taking the women's one-a-day, but switched to these because they offer the minerals and such that many people miss out on from eating certain carbs.

any input?

it can't do any harm to take them, can it?

I was wondering the same thing. I almost bought the carb smart but decided on the One a Day Weight Smart. There were so many to choose from!

A daily multi-vitamin is a good idea for anyone but especially good for those of us dieting. Please remember that South Beach is NOT a low carb diet but a GOOD Carb Diet and that after the first Phase, you will be eating whole grains and fruits that will probably meet your nutritional needs. If you track your foods on Fitday and check out the RDA, you will see where you may or may not need supplementation.

IMHO - "special" multivitamins are not worth the extra money.

Any basic multivitamin will do the job. I take one, but I also take ester C, calcium, and glucosamine and condroitin with Omega 3&6 -- oh, and cod liver oil capsules. Seems to work well -- sure don't feel 51!

ruth - they were the same price as my normal women's multivitamin that i normally take, so i figured i would try them. there's only 70 of them, so after 2 months or so i can go back to my other ones. i know it's not a low carb diet...but i dunno. they sounded good.

would the weight smart ones be better, then?
