Default Humpety ChitChat - Wednesday, March 24

Morning everyone!

Well, lets get some energy in to life today. Ellis of course will be leaping through her oatmeal to her rendezvous with Mr Muscle, but for the rest of us, here are some dancing bananas

OK, well it is Wednesday. I have a busy day, clients all day and evening.

Went for a walk yesterday afternoon and saw three jays. Now, I have never seen more than one at a time before, so that was exciting. I think it is a SIGN of something, but not sure what. But a good sign.

Have a good day everyone
xx

Ok, Ok, I'm awake...

Stayed out way too late last night. Went to my knitter's Stitch N' ***** session. Even though only two of us showed, we yakked until 10:00. When I saw the time...OMG!

Clovey, what kind of jay did you see? Just a plain old blue jay? Or is this some kind of exotic British jay? The blue jays here are a real PITA. They sit on fences and taunt dogs and cats, they have no manners at the bird feeders or birdbaths, they're loud, and generally behave like trailer trash.

I did terrible yesterday. Didn't prepare for lunch properly and ended up eating a bunch of very OFF program crackers. Now, I'm all puffy and feeling like crap. So, I'm going to keep this short and run down and put a couple eggs on to boil.

Everyone have a great day.

Three jays, Clovey? Your jays are different from ours. Ours are not symbolic of anything except being noisy, brilliant blue bandits who rob feeders! Anyhow, I'm sure it's a good sign after yesterday's bomb scare on your way to work!

I gave myself a good talking to yesterday about attitude! Feeling so crappy after a weekend of deviant behaviour (foodwise only!), gave me a bit of a wake-up call. I am eating nearly the right stuff but not drinking water or getting serious about exercise. 2003 steps yesterday is NOT enough! So it's back to fitday logging and setting up the water first thing in the morning.

After yesterday's snow - a veritable blizzard at times - today is going to be sunny and cold according to the sunrise. Cold is relative - it will be a high of 39F Wow! We are running below normal temps this month but I'm hoping for a warmer April! Weather obsession is a sign of old age! Get over it, Ruthie!

Hersh is off to her job after lunch and then we'll do her treadmill session. I've got an Osso Bucco with gremolata started for dinner which will be early as I have a Community in Bloom meeting tonight. I'll breathe garlic on them all and maybe shorten the meeting!

Gotta go feed my "starving" Girls. I woke at 3 but convinced myself to go back to sleep. It's pretty sad when 6:15 feels like sleeping in!

Have a great Hump Day! is semi-appropriate, I guess.

Reminder re humping the garbage out to the road for the dump run popped up as I wrote that! Is that a sign like three jays?

Mamacita, you snuck in. Thanks for backing me up about our jays. Trailer trash is a good term for them! We call the yellow grosbeaks "Bowlers" because of their gaudy jackets! They are feeder pigs too! Hmmm - sounds like the carb crap has hit you too. I am going to have eggs too ....right now!

at the rest of the Beach Beauties

Morning Chicks! Clovey, Mamacita, Ruth.....yall crack me up!!

Finally, finally, finally, the weather is warming up and will actually be in the upper 60's ALL week not just for a day! Wooohoooo!!! Is that really you Spring?

I think I may even do a little spring cleaning of the closets after my Ramping Class today!

We got a letter in the mail yesterday informing us that April 2 is Kindgarden orientation for our baby girl for this fall. What?!?! When did this happen? And our son will start Middle School. I may need to have a mini breakdown the first day back to school. Would someone hold my hand?

I hope everyone has a fantastic, productive, OP day today!!!! I'll check back in later! Ellis, Jan, Little Chick, all the Chicks on the beach, have a great day!

Good morning. Those nasty jays are reeking havoc everywhere, it seems. How can a bird so pretty be so ugly? They scare all the others away from the feeders, and even fight with the squirrels. (Not that I'm so fond of them, either)
I'll be thinking and praying for my daughter today, as she is going for an interview today at a seminary. She has put a lot of thought into this, and feels she can face all the obstacles that may stand in her way.
DH came home from work already-back went out. I guess he plans to spend the remainder of the day taking it easy, when I had big plans for him to work on the garden!
Ruth - I'm very glad you are thinking positive and are back on plan!
Ellis - Your PT sounds like a machosist(sp). His food plan doesn't sound very exciting at all! I don't know if I envy you anymore.
To everyone else -- enjoy your Wednesday, only 2 more days till weekend!

Now now, girls. There just may be some trailor trash on this forum. Try to be politically correct, will ya?

Weather obsession is simply a sign of being a Canadian, Ruth. Age doesn't come into it. Even my eight year old is obsessed with the weather. Geez, it was DREADFUL yesterday! Walking home from the gym, the snow was turning into little ice pellets. My face felt like it was bleeding.

Now that I'm doing so well (finally), I feel it my duty to order you girls to GET IT TOGETHER!
Clovey, you need to work in a little exercise today. You can do squats while your clients pour out their troubles.
Marmacita, plan your food for the day!

Tracy, I'll never forget taking our DD to kindergarten the first day. I was all prepared to bawl my eyes out, but the teacher was so brusque with the parents that we barely had time to say goodbye to our children, much less cry over them.
I DID manage to get a cry in when we sent DS (our baby) to school for the first time. You'd better take the day off after you drop her off at school.

Yes, I am going to the gym. First I must drink my water with lemon juice and eat my one piece of fruit. Oh, crap! I was supposed to type out my food from yesterday for my trainer... gotta run... love and hugs to all...

Good morning everyone! This Wednesday is absolutely beautiful here in South Carolina. A little chilly but sunshine everywhere!!!

I kinda stalled on the SB last week! I stayed exactly in the same place on the scale! I tried to be real strict this week and stay on plan to a tea. I did pretty well but we will see tomorrow afternoon.

I found low carb bread at Atlanta Bread Company. 5 net carbs per slice so i bought a loaf.

hope everyone is doing well! Thanks Ruth for emailing me the website with all the abbreviations. could you do that again? thanks, c-handla

Goal: lose 5 pounds by March 31st

Unhappy

Good Morning my fine feathered friends. I will have you know that I am very offended that you guys are calling blue jays trailer trash since they are my favorite bird. The description that you used for them louds bossy etc you are descrobing me to a tee. So I think I should change my name to little blue jay. and I will ask Suzanne to make a smilie just for me. ( Ruthie do you have any pull in that department.)

Well girls have a great day. I must go take my boiling bones off the stove so I can attempt to get back on track and make a nice heathly soup. Talk to ya all later.

Default Happy Humping!

Good Mornin' to you all!
After what seems like 100 years of cold and snow, they are predicting a sunny 50 degree day here today, and near 60 tomorrow (people around here will be in shorts..I'm not kidding...they always go nuts on the first warmish day)...well yay & welcome Spring - finally! I saw 2 robins yesterday..birds we don't mind at all..the Jays on the other hand...sheesh!
I started the week fully committed to sataying OP & have been succesful thus far...actually lost all I had gained & half a lb. more! woo-hoooooo! ...8 more to reach my goal...which at the rate I'm losing could take years! I have up-ed my h20 intake & have cut my carbs a bit more as well...I can't seem to tolerate many without stalling. Bummer.
Well girls, enjoy the beautiful day...I'll try to blow the spring weather northward to our Canadian friends...

I am wearing short sleeves today!! It's going to be 60 and climbing up the mercury ladder for the rest of the week. 70s this weekend. 70!!! I can't wait! The fatherless rodents (that's "rat *******s") that installed our windows are coming out tomorrow to see how badly them screwed them up, including getting glass into my flower beds. I'm going for landscaping charges. I'm certainly not getting down there in the glass ridden soil! Fatherless rodents, I tell you!!

Ellis- How's "stationary home challenged waste matter" for a PC alternative?

Gotta go! Summer groups are ready, now I have to work on the little ones from the inner city. My FAVORITE. So cute!! tootaloo, all. Have a terrific OP day. I will too, just as soon as I finish this donut I'm so very bad...

FATHERLESS RODENTS!!! BWAAAHAHA!

I honestly needed that, today! I am going through a bit of Re-Phase I fatigue after my solid 5 days of bad food, and suddenly I'm back on track but exhausted.

I hope you ladies have a lovely OP day, with as many or as few rat ******* jays are you like. I officially need more caffeine.
