Question I Hate Cheese!

Can anyone help me with an alternative snack for cheese? I REALLY dislike it (okay, I HATE IT!) and I need some advice on something that can be eaten during those times. PLEASE don't tell me veggies, my word I have eaten a farmers field since starting last Monday. THANK YOU for any help! I have LOVED reading thru the threads!!!

Thanks,
mngmom

I eat nuts for a snack. Always. I don't really pay attention to amounts, not strictly anyway, I try not to eat more than a handful mid-morning and a handful mid-afternoon. But the Dr says only like 20 nuts a day. So that's not really op...

But I've lost NINE POUNDS in six days. Granted, I run 3 miles and do pushups and situps every other day. But still.

I'm a peanutaholic..love them in the shells salted, so I tend to eat those moslty. I, too, don't pay attention much to amounts. I KNOW I eat more than 20, but I still lost 7lbs and 1" in phase one, so it can't be all that bad, hahaha. Or try celery with a little peanutbutter on it.

Low fat vanilla or plain yogurt, hard boiled eggs, ham and lettuce rollups and nuts.

Do you dislike all cheese? I have been eating Greek Salads the last few days to make a change.

I keep some meat/poultry around for snack time. (Eating a chicken breast takes some time.) I also eat cottage cheese, sugar free jello with a little whip topping, nuts in shells (takes up some time to deshell them), and a cup of hot green tea. (Drinking sweetened tea helps curb my sweet tooth and it is good for you.)

THANK YOU for your suggestions!! I do dislike (hate) cheese! I'm also not fond of yogurt. I have a real texture/taste thing going on and those two items have NEVER been in my diet of 37 years. I used to peel the bread off of my grilled cheese sandwiches when I was a little girl. Finally my good mother realized that I REALLLY didn't like cheese and quit trying to make them for me!!!!

In my life before starting SB, a whopping one week TOMORROW that is, I would only eat cheese on pizza. Can we have the cheese and veggie toppings from pizza? I do love pizza, however I try not to think about "eating cheese" while I devour it!

Thanks again, beach girls! I'm soooooooooooo happy that I found this place! Both of my parents have started a new beach lifestyle so I have good support from them also. I'm dying for my mom to come over and read thru the threads. She will love them, just like I have enjoyed reading about your lives and struggles with weight.

Have a SUPER SUNDAY! I live in MO and it is a beautiful, blue, sunny sky kind of day but the temp is only 45!!!!!!! We were close to 70 yesterday so today is CHILLY! I'm so happy that it is SPRING, it is my FAVORITE season!!!

Danone yogurt company has these great yogurt mousse cups that are low in fat - they are whipped so the texture is not like regular yogurt. The vanilla and the raspberry ones are delicious

Thanks, I will try the whipped yogurt and see if I can "choke" them down. My daughter LOVES yogurt and it is all I can do to peel the lip off of it.

I do LOVE skim milk and I'm glad that it is on PI. My ob/gyn told me that I should be taking a Calcium supplement EVERY DAY. So I do that. She is also one of the people that told me about SB and highly recommended it since she was on it and doing great. We are the same age and I value her opinion.
