  • Does anybody want to post menus? I thought we had one going, but it must have been a pre-crash post, unless I'm just missing it.


    I'll start with yesterday. I'm on Phase 2.

    Saturday:

    B Atkins bagel with peanut butter

    L legal PB&J sandwich

    S popcorn (yep not legal but small amounts do not seem to affect me so that is my one occasional indulgence.)

    D salsa chicken
    green beans
    spaghetti squash with ricotta cheese sauce

    S Uncle Sam's cereal

    Not enough water!

    B: 2 egg omlette w/ mushrooms, ff cheese, tomatoes and turkey bacon and 1/2 cup of jello/ricotta cheese dessert. (need something sweet)

    S: Part skim string cheese stick

    L: Turkey Stir Fry with lots of veggies

    S: Peanuts (approx 20 small)

    D: Will be chicken breast, steamed veggies and small salad
    1/2 cup of jello/ricotta dessert.

    Working on the water, I never get enough when I am home. I get plenty while I am at work though.
  • I am on Phase I...this is what I have eaten...

    Yesterday:
    B: Quiche cups with LF cheese and canadian bacon
    L: Ham and cheese stick
    D: Small Filet, brussel sprouts, salad with oil and vinegar.
    Snack: pistachios
    Snack: splenda fudgsicle

    Today:
    B: I slept through it!
    L: Avocado with lemon and salt, Ham
    D: Pan fried catfish,fresh asparagus, and cucumber slices with balsamic vinegarette.
    Snack: pecans
    Snack: Probably another fudgsicle
  • Phase 2 for me! Also, while I am low-carbing it I am also following Weight Watchers Points system.

    Yesterday:

    B: Atkins Shake
    S: SF Latte
    L: WW pizza pocket, side salad with ranch
    D: chicken bacon wrap ( a spin off of subway's new atkins wraps)
    S: 2 sf russell stover caramel pecans

    Wednesday
    (I was hungrier today.....)

    B: Atkins Shake, 2 slices low carb toast w/smart spread
    S: 2 sf latte's (dbf treated me to one after I had already made one)
    L: 1 ww pizza pocket, 1 cup sf jell-o w/ whip cream
    S: 1 cup sf jell-o w/ whip cream
    D: BBQ chicken, side salad with ranch

    Thursday

    B: Atkins Shake
    S: SF Latte, 1 egg scrambled toppped with onion and cheese and 2 slices bacon
    L: 1 diet soda, turkey & swiss sandwich (LC bread), side salad w/ ranch, LC ice cream bar
    S: apple
    D: a meat concoction dbf made up

    Friday

    B: Atkins Shake
    S: SF Latte
    L: Turkey and swiss sandwitch, salad
    D: 3 slices Pizza
    S: lc ice cream bar

    Saturday

    B: Atkins Shake
    S: SF coffee, scrambled egg, 2 slices bacon
    L: Legal sandwitch, ice cream bar
    D: Salsa Chicken, salad with ranch
    Will probably have a snack.

    Wow, now that I look back and what I have eaten, I realize that i eat waaayyyy to many frankenfoods. Will have to work on that! I'm amazed I had a 3 pd loss this week!

    s- raost beef, baked beans and fruit smoothie.
  • I am on phase 1 as well...but only 2 days left

    Breakfast- 1 egg

    Lunch- meat and cheese concoction
    I use the 94% ff ground beef and cheddar cheese and 1 can of crushed tomatoes and 1/2 package of taco seasoning and cook the beef and add the 1/2 packet seasoning and then I add the tomatoes cook for 10 minutes on medium then put it in a small baking dish cover with cheese and bake at 350 till the cheese melts.

    supper- Inside of the burger from a fast food place

    snack- sf jello
  • For me today has been: ( I am doing 1.5)
    B- banana and peanut butter
    L- garden salad with ultra low fat catalina and roast beef with a bit of harvarti(?) cheese.
    S- ham, coleslaw, pinapple

    My menu for today:

    B: 2 poached eggs, coffee w/ skim milk

    L: tuna w/ lowfat mayo, low fat cottage cheese w/ chives,
    6 cherry tomatoes, lettuce....sf jello

    S: coffee w/ skim (Honey Dew Donuts has a GREAT new flavor:
    white chocolate snowflake...very yummy!

    D: Grilled steak, steamed veggies, sauteed mushrooms
    SF fudgsicle
  • Phase II
    B. slice whole wheat toast with 1/3 cup cottage cheese
    L. turkey chili, celery and cucumber sticks
    D. salmon filet, broccoli, zucchini sauteed in olive oil
    Not enough water but I will have some herb tea in a minute to help warm up.
  • Phase 1

    B: 2 eggs scrambled, sprinkle of LF cheese
    2 slices of turkey bacon
    V8, 6 oz
    L: 1 avocado, with lemon and salt
    S: Pecans, about 8
    D: Will be having...the cheddar stuffed burgers
    cauliflower mashed potato thingys
    salad with balsamic vinegarette dressing
    S: Probably Splenda fudgsicle
  • Thursday:
    B: 2 slices of turkey bacon and 2 "fried eggs" using Pam
    L: turkey burger, green beans, small salad with FF italian dressing
    S: Dr. Agastan's chocolate ricotta dessert with added nuts
    D: roast chicken breast, salad, deviled egg
    Dessert: SG jello
  • Phase 2

    B Uncle Sam cereal

    L PB&J sandwich (all with SBD legal versions)

    S cheese stick

    D ww enchiladas, brown rice, black beans, small salad

    Too many grains for me today! I'm trying to cram in as much fiber as I can.

    L salad and a turkey wrap, with LC tortilla

    D Kraut and Turkey Kielbasa
  • Phase 2 day one

    Breakfast- 2 eggs

    Lunch- beef ribs and green beans

    snack- carolite cookie

    supper- not sure...topping from a pizza maybe

    snack- 5 strawberries

    B - 2 slices of turkey bacon ( I was in a hurry)
    L - TGIF's Atkins menu Chicken breast with cheese and broccoli
    D - Chili with LF cheese, cucumbers with balsamic vinegarette
    Snacks...pecans, cheese stick, laughing cow cheese with celery stick

    Today

    Brunch kinda thing, ate late...2 scrambled eggs with cheese and 2 slices turkey bacon, avocado with lemon.
    D - pan fried catfish, cabbage, and salad
    snacks? dont know yet
