There's a light in the East! I think we will see the sun today!

Quickie post this morning as the lad is coming to do the furnace cleaning at 8 and I'm not showered and dressed yet. I should have slept in my clothes again.

Ellis, Lizzie is not funning us - she really does come up here in the summer. I hope Kay Dean is still alive then so we can give L. the best butter tarts in Ontario. Maybe we can plan a picnic or get L. up to Ottawa for dim-sum!

I got some sad news last night - my friend Morna's mother finally died after a terrible battle. I will try to get over there this afternoon to help M. out with the dogs. Harry can now be on his own longer since he got Lifeline. By the way, two false alarms yesterday! He pressed it twice by mistake. I think I may have him wear it only when I'm not around.

Gotta get cracking. I am off to the doc this morning at 10:30 to finally have somebody take a look at my poor bleeding feet - stress-induced eczema that's out of control and is cramping my style! I can't garden or walk in fuzzy slippers, although it could be a Delta fashion statement.

TGIF and the sun is going to come out!

Oh Ruthie~ I'm so sorry for your friends loss

I am feeling much better today. I am going back to phase 1 as my eating habits have gone out the window. Had the house to myself last night. Did a little reading, took a bubble bath and had a long talk with myself. Was to rainy for walking outside so I did a little on the treadmill.

TGIF!! Enjoy this beautiful day Chickies

Ruth~~I hope your poor feet get better soon. I'm so sorry that your friend 's mother has passed away. I hope her battle was not painful. I will keep them in my prayers.

I just read a book called "The Five People You Meet In Heaven" by Mitch Albom. It's a fictional story but the premise is that when we die there are 5 people , who meet with us,who 's life had some connection with ours and they help to answer the questions of "Why are we here on earth" and "what was my purpose in life?" , etc.

The bottom line is "that each affects the other and the other affects the next, and the world is full of stories, but the stories are all one." Easy read and enjoyable.

Ellis~~Enjoy the sun while it's out

Sflake~~Good going with the treadmill.

All beach beauties to come, have a great day.

Angry Good Morning, all!!!

Good Morning, Ruth, and Beach Buddies!

First off, Ruth, hope that sun shines on you today.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's mother. My sympathy goes out to her. Please take care of your footsies. My suggestion is to get a good foot cream, and apply it every night then put socks on before bed. This gives it time to really help while sleeping. Works for me!
Ruth, down here is southern Indiana we have no cosmopolitans! Only farm land . Down here we refer to Dump runs as....goin' to the land fill!! Just another interpretation of a smelly job!!
Sflake, thanks for the post on current menus. I think this will help me to get and share ideas to get back on track. Hope so!
Ellis.....may you be blessed with sunshine , also! You sound like you're doing so well on your exercise!
2B....the novel you mentioned sounds like good reading.
Have a wonderful Friday, everyone. My DH is taking me to dinner and a dance at the Shrine tonight. Sounds like fun. Maybe I can dance off a few calories at the same time!
Bye-bye!
~Sharon

Good Morning Lovley Ladies
Ruth, so sorry about your feet and your friends Mom, sending good thoughts and prayers your way.

I had a terrible pigout last night, this new business opportunity for me has escalated my already unstable relationship with my friend/ex/business partner. We have been going to his therapist once a week to see if we can work things out, and the sessions are great, but during the week he is just not able to catch himself, so we have been aruging, one of the reasons that I haven't had the energy to stay OP, I havent gained, but I want to be losing.

So the therapist has put us on a temporary separation, it is a strange relationship, it has no boundaries and frankly I feel like I am too old to be doing this, it is one of those relationships that when its good, its amazing, but when its bad it is miserable. I always kind of thought it was because we were both artists, now I think it is because we were both immature.

Anyhow, hopefully the website will be up in the next week, since I have taken it over and I can point you all to the details of it, until then I will be doing the best I can....as we all are...

Sending light to everyone on this Friday morning!!!
