Talking I broke through my stall!!!

This isn't technically related to the SBD, since I just started that today, but I'm still super excited and wanted to share my triumph with all you wonderful chicks. I was stalled for almost three weeks, and I had not changed anything (was not cheating on the Atkins diet, was still exercising 3x a week, etc.). I was pretty upset, so I started drinking 80 oz of water a day, running 1.5 miles on the treadmill and using the bowflex every other day, and doing my cardio blast video at home on off days. I was very excited when I weighed myself yesterday and saw that I had lost 2.5 lbs since Thursday, and officially broke through my stall. Yay!!! Now let's just hope switching diets doesn't make me stall again...

Way to go. You have been working so hard you deserve to lose the weight.
I couldn't drink that much water unless I was near a bathroom at all times. LOl
Keep up the good work!!!

Good job girl! So you're doing Atkins? I tried that a few years ago, I only lost 8 pounds in like 5 months, although some people have had great success. I'm hoping to do much better on SBD.
The way you exercise puts me to shame! This is Day 7 for me and I'm feeling like thinking out an exercise plan, could not even imagine one a few days ago!

Keep up the good work.

Hi,
I'm new here but I've been reading lots of posts and finally decided to become part of the fun! I finally broke thru my plateau
using the SBD. I'm gradually going into phase II, I guess I'm hesitant about eating more carbs and regaining what I've lost. I did eat an apple today for the first time in 16 days! What a treat! To those of you on a plateau, just keep plugging away and keep moving! We'll all be skinny chicks on the beach in the near future!

Welcome haleysmom. I'm relatively new here too. The gals here are really nice and helpful. I'm only on Day 8 and am doing pretty good so far. An apple sound pretty darn good about now.

Good luck and hang in there!

I know I'll be afraid to move into phase II, but I keep hearing from all these people on the diet that they continued to lose weight in phase II. So I'll at least give it a try, the worst that could happen is I stop losing or gain, and if I do, I can move back to phase I. I can't wait to eat fruit!
