Default Last day of March Daily Chat 3-31

Good morning,

Can't believe we are at the end of March already. We had thunderstorms last night and just had a blip of power which woke me up, so figured I would get my report done and do my yoga early so not so much rushing around for me this morning.

I am going into office today and it will be a test if I can stay on P1 we are having a work lunch meeting and the items are food porn other than salad and veggies being brought. My plan is to eat only salad and veggies and maybe get a few pieces of chicken from one entree. My scale is almost back down from trip only have 1 more lb and then I can continue my journey so send some pixie dust my way

Tonight DH got some tickets to see someone from the daily show not really wanting to go but will. Glad tomorrow is WFH day for me.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day

Good morning and thanks for starting us up, Pearlrose. You sound as if you have your day well in hand.

We have the predicted rainy day ahead. I am so glad I pushed myself to horse the summer tires into the car last night instead of waiting for this morning. I'm due there for 7:30 and hope to be back here before 9 to do some end of the month things. Susan is coming for lunch and the sign-off of Phase I of the Archiving Project. I don't even want to think about Phase II!

Just cleaned up a coffee mess. The Keurig is gone but the carafe for the old electric pot didn't sit on the warming plate properly and the coffee dripped over the hot plate and counter. What a week for kitchen disasters! At least the vinegar flood gave me a really clean kitchen floor.

Well see what other mess today brings. Maybe I'll just give Susan cheese and crackers for lunch!

Enjoy this last day of March which is going out like a lamb!

Pearl - LOL...I send the fairy your way with the pixie dust, but she better get back here quick! Tonight will be fun I bet, let us know tomorrow!

Ruth - How are you feeling after returning to the gym? Hope today goes smoothly for you. (I hate when the pot isn't sitting on there right...what a mess!)

Wow, that myelogram really wiped me out, and today isn't a whole lot better so far. But tomorrow is DS's 13th birthday (OMG, I have a teenager...although my 11 yo DD already acts like one....), and I need to get a few things for him. I can't remember if I said I found an electric recliner on craigslist, and it has a seat and back warmer too! I'm sure I'll put it to good use tonight . And today's high will be 68!! Bring on the beautiful weather!

I hope everyone has a glorious day!

Good morning, Ruth, Pearlrose and chicks to come! We have a wet and windy day too; DH just reminded me last year on this date we received 15" of wet snow. I'll take the rain!

March seemed to fly by for me; so often it is a long and dreary month but with Easter being early and some sunshine it wasn't a bad month. Now April should bring true spring and some flowers and garden planning.

Today is yesterday all over again: work, workout, cook and clean up. But sometimes mundane is good. I am also keeping my fingers crossed as DS1 has a job interview coming up and a couple more possibilities in the works.

Got to fly. Wonder where my raincoat is? Ruth, did you take out the trash?

Wow it's only 8:00 and I feel like a slacker lol.

Pearlrose here comes will power dust for you...... good that you have a plan for today!

Ruth my old coffee maker used to spit everywhere lol. The things we don't do for coffee.

Tammy my step dad has a mylogram it wiped him out for a few days. Be good to yourself today. Enjoy your recliner! Happy Birthday to DS!

Beth I agree March did fly by. I think the Farmer's Almanac was a little off this year as the winter wasn't too terrible. Yes mundane is a good thing. Hope DS1's interview goes well. What type of job is it?

Mundane day for me too. It is really nice so I am going to get a few miles in before work. I may just pedal around here as I do not have too much time. Yesterday's ride was short due to cold temps (43) and wind! So I decided to take one my my challenging roads (a long steady hill climb for three miles). Made me feel good that I did not have any issues with it. I've been known to struggle on that road.

I did pick up my huge jug of prep. Apparently they only give lemon lime as the flavor pack. The pharmacist was great and suggested ditching the flavor pack for anything that doesn't have red dye in it. I found NSA Tang so hopefully I can stomach it. I start my liquid diet Sunday and prep Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before the test. Sorry chicks I see food porn in my future for lunch on Wednesday lol.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Cyndi where are you going on your trip?

Good Morning!

Pearlrose, thanks for getting us started this morning! You will do fine at lunch! I have confidence in you! Hope you enjoy the show tonight.

Ruth, I always love when I don't procrastinate! I thought about taking off snow tires while we were at Costco yesterday then we came home in a white out. (Guess it's a little early here)

Tammy, take it easy today! That recliner was such a great deal!

Beth, I don't mind "mundane". It beats a lot of other options in my world. We still have lots of possibility for snow here….it's definitely not over.

Jennifer, great on that hill yesterday! Neither of my bikes are real "road" bikes...both hybrids and not too great with hills. Sometimes I have to walk. Sorry about the "prep". Oh, well.

My day ended pretty well. We were headed back from Denver and my mom called to say the attorney wanted to serve eviction papers "today". I told her I would drive up to see if the tenants car was there. It was not and I ended up going in and talking to the neighbor, who is a friend/tenant. Before I could update my mom she called to say the server was coming up. I decided to wait. When she was coming back to her car I went out to talk to her and ask if the dog barked. She informed me the dog was there and the woman had answered the door. Yay! We surmise the guy is abusing painkillers and hiding paperwork from her. We got our target! Now we just wait and go to court next Thursday.

Today we are headed back to Denver for more chores. Glad I got my rototiller in yesterday. It's a 3-4 week wait for it's return which is perfect timing. It's kind of dreary here so I'll come back home and work inside.

Have a great day everyone!
