Angry Day 2 almost complete

hello everyone who may read this post. I am almost coming to the end of day two, and feeling a tad better than day one. Had a terrible headach that started at 1 in the afternoon yesterday till I took some mortrin this morning. Headache today didn't start till about 5 or so....and doesn't feel as bad. I read that the headaches will go away...lets hope! Not really hungry, so that must be a good sign.

I used another BB to help me quit smoking, so I am helping that the same type of assistance will contribute to me loosing the weight from my quit and Graves....

very nice to meet you all

Wendy

WENDY,

I had headaches on day 2 & 3. They were the worst!

So, WELCOME to the Beach and make it a habit to come here often.
There is lots of help, tips, fun and laughter here.

SO glad you aren't hungry. Remember your snacks and have a great Wednesday.

Hi, Wendy, and welcome to another Canadian chick.

Yes, the headaches are normal as your body clears itself of carb toxins. Lots of water helps.

Good for you on quitting smoking! Go, Girl!

You're sure flirting with danger Jez!! Do you think that you can keep it up without getting carried away? If so, what the heck! The book says some people need to start at phase 2. I couldn't. Even when I started phase 2 and was presumably "de-toxed" I had problems keeping the carbs to a minimum. I'm okay with fruit, but bread sets me off. I think that this WOE is slightly different for everyone, and you have to experiment with it to see what works for YOU.

HI WENDY!!!!!! WELCOME!!!!!!!!!

Lightbulb Cheating? Nah...

Wendy...not sure you can "cheat" with healthy stuff! If you are giving your bod the nutrition it needs and not filling up on all the stuff that causes problems, then you must be doing right!

I know I don't count calories or anything else. I eat when I am hungry, or before. I try and make good choices based on what I have learned about nutrition. Sometimes my choices aren't the best, but I don't even think about that as cheating. A slip up, or a bad choice, yes!

I'm not sure what you are eating that you think is cheating, if it is healthy food! Seems like an oxymoron to me!

I think if you are working the program AND the program is working then, GO FOR IT!
