Coffee's ready! I have mine!

I was sleeping so good that I didn't want to get up this morning. My legs are still a little achy from Sunday's 5K, but it was so much fun and I'm looking forward to doing it again. We must have walked around in the city at least another 5K afterwards.

I have an extra long day ahead of me today, working til 8:30 tonight. It should be a fairly easy day, though. This morning I'm going over to Susie's to get the rest of the kitchen boxed up. We were waiting first to see if the new renters were going to use it, but they're bringing their own. The painters should be finishing up do I can get the hardwood floors buffed, and on Thursday I plan to shampoo the bedroom carpets. I'm not sure how I feel about having renters in the house, but it's better than leaving the house empty, I guess.

I'd better go see what I can have for lunch today. I think there's one more container of soup stashed in the freezer!

Fly-by for me. I forgot I am due to get my tires changed at 7:30 and loafed in bed cuddling Jazz. Back later. I will drive there with my coffee in hand.

Cottage - hope your busy day goes smoothly! When I made my salad last night, I made extra for today. I'm enjoying salads again.

Busy day here too. DH just left on (another) trip. Hopefully he's finishing up his project this week! My neighbor is having his surgery today - I think I mentioned a couple of months ago that he fell off the roof and broke his back, and in his work up they found an 11 cm tumor on his kidney. Anyway, he's asked me to let his dogs out while the family is with him. I'm trying to remember what I planned for supper tonight...better dig the menu out!

Good Morning

I've been up getting all kinds of stuff in order. We leave for California early tomorrow morning and I work today. Bing is going to stay with my mom so I got all his pills together, and tidied the house since the neighbor will check on the cat. Everything is ready to jam in the suitcase (Vitamix included!) I found out there is a farmers market right near where we will be staying on Thursday so that will be exciting!

Whoo hoo I finally have a day off!!!! Good morning, I missed you guys!!! Today I have the gastro at 9:30, oil change afterwards (almost 1000 miles over due uh oh), last indoor ride (tomorrow the weather WILL cooperate for an outdoor adventure), chores (none got done since before I traveled) and later going to a new restaurant in town with Joe. The best reward from my crazy week a 1.6 loss YEAH BABY!!!

Right now is much needed belly rubs and coffee. I do need to ween myself down. Been having shaky hands and palpitations. I'll trick myself into using decaf at work (maybe)

Ruth I am way overdue for tires, but that is going to wait until next month.

Beth my grill is finally snow free. I plan on making steak and asparagus tomorrow. I don't remember the last time I had red meat. DS wants hamburgers soon lol.

Debbie - Have a great trip. I've been to two Farmer's Markets in LA. The pop-up one near Hollywood Blvd was fabulous! We came across it accidentally. The one at the Grove was a lot of food porn for me.

I'm tired this morning so already planning a nap for later! Actually, I think I'll head to the mall; I have something to return and I'll check out spring stuff. Other than that, some cardio and lots of laziness.

I have lots to do at work today so need to get my head into the grindstone, I managed to get some groceries on the way home and a couple of loads of laundry done. Tonight will be more of that.

Evening everyone! Just a quick flyby before dinner. Nothing special happening here today, just the normal business of work. We have 40-ish and rain (Yeah for no snow!) and the grass is starting show over the bulk of the lawn. Come on, spring!

Eating has been OP. I am hoping to that grill going this weekend. I'll have to be extra-nice to DH!

Good evening everyone! I had a busy day today. Nothing special just work and house chores.

I had another good day in the eating department. So hopefully I can continue eating healthy and leave those bad sugar cravings behind
