Default ?

am curious. Someone posted a daily food outline for p 2 that listed 1 serving of carbs daily. Is this typical of p 2 or a personal choice? If typical Core isnt as much like p2 as i thought b/c core isnt low carb unless a person makes a personal choce to do so.

It's probably a personal choice.

South Beach Diet isn't a low carb diet, it's a good carb diet where you are encouraged to unprocessed, wholesome carbs. Legumes are especially recommended because of their high fiber and vitamins, and they leave you feeling full and satisfied.

If I am remembering the book correctly, it did recommend gradually increasing the number of carby servings to learn how starches and natural sugars affect you and how many servings you can incorporate without weight loss suffering.

There is no set number of servings, but you're supposed to make changes gradually and pay attention to how your body reacts.
