Anybody ever done one??? I am SUPER excited about this one b/c my roommate, my bestfriend, and her wife are all going to do it w/ me. Frigging awesome!!! I tried to get some co-workers to join in but I think they're a little scared of it. Not me...I love this stuff!!!

OMGosh! Thanks for the link to the races. My state looks super fun but I am no where ready to compete in one. I'll save the link for later.

That looks exactly like the Maldon Mud Race near my hometown in the UK. It is great, every Boxing Day for charity. I've never done it but people dress up like superheroes and everything, looks like loads of fun!

I'm so excited. My bestfriend is moving back here at the end of this month and we're gonna start training for it. She's always been stick thin regardless of what she eats and doesn't exercise much, so I'm gonna be busting her butt...bwahahahahaha!!!
Can't wait to share pictures...hope those of you who are doing it will post your pictures, too!!!

How'd it go??? Was it a blast???
I signed up today just in the nick of time. We had decided to do it on Saturday during the 4:30 PM wave. Well, I went to register and it said "0 spots available." The only time slot w/ spots available for Saturday was 6:30 PM and they only had 10 spots left!!! So I rounded up my group real quick and told them all to hurry up and register. Thankfully all 5 of us got registered...woot woot!!! I am super duper excited...can't wait!!!

It was awesome! There was some really severe weather earlier in the day that caused the event to be canceled. the coordinators told everyone that if they wanted, they could run the route but that their times and stuff wouldn't be recorded. my group ran it and omg, it was SO muddy from the 5"+ rainfall that we had just a few hours before. It was SOOOOO much fun, though. I definitely ruined my clothes that I wore. They held the event officially the next day, but I already had plans with family so I wasn't able to attend the official event.
I will definitely be doing it again next year. It was absolutely amazing to do it with my group of women. we all felt so empowered afterward.

There's one in August less than 3 miles away from me... Heck, I could walk there! I am thinking of doing it now! When I make it to Onederland, the $50 registration may have to be my reward!!! Have fun Natasha!

I pulled the trigger and signed up. July 16 . My dh is joining me because he's a copycat . His 50 mile ultra is two weeks later so he has promised to never forgive me if he hurts himself....... I did no persuading truly, he just hates being left out. I think it's going to be a blast.
