Good morning ladies!

I had a great day yesterday, busy - but lots of fun. It's dreary here again this morning, but I believe it's going to clear up so I'm really looking forward to a nice, long walk this afternoon.

I've decided to go for the next step in my journey. It's been 6 months since I met my goal of losing 50 pounds. I feel really good and to be honest I could be very happy at this weight for the rest of my life, but I'm still about 20 lbs overweight according to the charts. My motivation all along has been to be healthy and stay healthy so normal BMI - here I come!

Also, to be quite honest, I'm scared to death of the holidays this year. October, November and December are chock full of family celebrations for us and they're going to be so difficult/different without my Dad this year. I could very easily slip back into my old habit of comforting myself with food if I don't have some clear goals set.

Enjoy your Sunday friends. I hope each and every one of you are able to feel terrific about what you eat and what you do today,

Good morning chicks.

Natasha -

Kierie - Glad you felt some peace after your week.

Tammie - I agree with Cyndi - For me, returning to PH1 now is for knocking off cravings but no whoosh.

Heidi - 6 months already! Time flies. I am always impressed and inspired when someone maintains because that is my problem time and time again.

So my husband did not want to ride bikes yesterday because he was playing basketball later. Bummer. But I walked with my neighbor instead. Bikes today though, I hope. Got a Kalyn recipe marinating for dinner. Not sure what will come in between.

Good Morning Ladies! Seems its harder for me to check in on the weekends... but here I am, and its my official WI day Im down! Whoohoooo! 4.2 from last week and thats about 8lbs in the last 2 weeks! Whoooo- I know it will slow but you just gotta love the motivation really staying on track can give you!!!(MAKING A HUGE MENTAL NOTE!)

SO, anyway- back to tiling... yes, still tiling. the window has given me issues so I had to wait to go borrow a saw to undercut part of the ledge so I can slide the tile up under it... with them being so small there is really no way I have to cut an L shape into it... I will post pictures for you guys soon so you can see what all my rambling has been about!

Went in the garden this morning and something ate my ankles up! itchy itchy itchy!!!

Went to Fall funfest yesterday with some of my besties, we went to lunch at chilis I had their bogo wine and a few tortilla chips, so to say the least I was suprised to see the scale this morning! We walked around the square several times and it was really nice. Weather is looking gorgeous today- I think I may try to talk DH into getting out into it... I know the dogs would really enjoy it too!

Good Sunday morning ladies!

Boy did I fall off the wagon hard last night. I celebrated one year with my boyfriend by eating way too much sushi at our favorite restaurant Boulder. Needless to say I am going to revisit life on Phase 1 for a little while.

It sounds like everyone is having a nice weekend. I am busy doing laundry and getting ready for our trip while Randy is sleeping and the puppy is chasing her tennis ball in circles. At least football starts in an hour! Go PATS!

I'm gonna watch the VMA award for the last time as an obese person! I'm actually interested in it, will probably miss most if not all of the Washington-Dallas game, lol. I actually like Dallas also! Church was great, good songs like "All who hunger" and "Amazing Grace". I ate well. I went out to eat yesterday and had veggies with vegetable oil, shrimp and chicken. I declined the noodles and fried rice! I'm so proud! In sad news, my scale at home is dysfunctional and it's the 6th peice of nonsense that doesn't work. Last time I go to GNC'S! I'll get a used scale from someone next time!

I just watched the VMAs too. I hadn't watched it in YEARS until last year...now I try not to miss it. I'm glad that GaGa won all the awards she did. She's weird as all get out but she can sing her *** off, fo' sho'!!! I love her music. I've been texting statuses about the VMAs throughout the whole thing. I had no idea that the chick from Paramore was who sang on "Airplanes." I saw Paramore in concert w/ No Doubt last year and I thought they sucked (No Doubt was AWESOME, though). LOL

Had a good family dinner last night and then caught up w/ my friend for her birthday celebration at a local bar. I didn't want to go back up to Macon w/ the group for the VIP section at a local bar w/ lots of bottles of vodka, so I had a couple of shots (bad, I know) at the bar here and then went home for the night. Really enjoyed seeing my cousins. Told Karen (she's the one who's home from NYC and who we had the dinner for) that if she ever needs a roommate, I'm up for it, LOL. Hopefully we'll get to go visit her soon.

I had a point...hmmm. Oh yeah, I made some SB-friendly food to take to the dinner and people LOVED it!!! I took parmesan and basil chicken salad on whole wheat bread and a sugar-free cheesecake w/ sugar-free strawberry topping. Everyone loved it and the cheesecake and strawberry topping was GONE!!! There were a few chicken salad sandwiches left, but not much. I was glad people liked it, though...gives them a different idea of what "diet food" can be like.

I hope you ladies are having a good weekend. Sounds like everybody's had a pretty busy weekend.
