It's nice to have you back, Ruth! I'm glad you had a good time.
I ended up going back out to the farm this morning to pick up a box of the kid's outgrown books that I wanted to drop off at Goodwill, and I ended up staying a few hours to clean and organize her refrigerators. They sure are going to be surprised when they get back to see all the organizing I've done while they were away! I promise now to enjoy the rest of my vacation and not go back out there again.
The workshop day was terrific, one of the best ones I've attended in a long time. We got a lot of work accomplished and had a good chunk of time to work as grade level groups. I think we all left happy. Lunch was delicious, too. I avoided the breakfast pastries and afternoon snacks and skipped the bread stick and creamy soup at lunch but I did have 1 chocolate chip cookie. It was so yummy that I have no regrets. I know I'm a weirdo but I LOVE school cafeteria cookies. I got a nice walk in this afternoon, too. It's been a great day but I'm tired now. I'm seriously thinking of heading to bed and it's not even 8 pm. Zzzzzzz Zzzzzzzz
