Question onion soup mix?

Is onion soup mix allowed on phase 2? I would like to make a roast in the crockpot but not sure if I'm allowed to use this or not. I've searched the site, but I can't seem to find anything. Thank you!

Check out the ingredients. I think it's a no-no. It is for me because it's loaded with salt.
Here are the ingredients:
Quote:
Ingredients:
Onions (deyhydrated), salt, cornstarch, onion powder, sugar, corn syrup, hydrolyzed soy protein, caramel color, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, monosodium glutamate, yeast extract, natural flavors, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate.
The cornstarch, sugar and corn syrup make it not OK. Sorry!

lyssas, you can use some dehydrated onion, beef broth or bouillon, and a shot of worcestershire in place of the soup mix.

I use beef boulion in my beef Roast. I also put an onion cut into four pieces in my roast. My hubby doesn't like onions but likes the taste that is why I make them so big.

When I do pot roast, I put in Worcestershire sauce, 2 or 3 beef bullion, fresh onion (or powder if I am being lazy) and a little spicy mustard. Yum!
