Default Did I miss something??? Fruit on phase 1.5?

Hey everyone! I have a question because maybe I missed something?

I was just reading the post where everyone put in what they ate and at what phase they are at. I was looking for ideas b/c I am on Phase 1.5 (i guess you would call it). ANyway, I saw three different people list a fruit (orange, blueberries and an apple) to be exact. I thought we couldn't introduce fruits/grains until after the first 2 weeks until we got to Phase 2? Am I wrong--please tell me because I'd really love to have fruit so I am hoping that I did miss something!

Please give me some good news! LOL

I am pretty sure that 1.5 is what people call the phase between 1&2 (after the first 2 weeks of Phase 1-no fruit or grains). Some people go right to Phase 2, and some like to take it a little slower and do a phase "1.5" where I guess they add just one at a time rather than both a fruit and a grain.
Sorry, if you are in your first 2 weeks, no fruit yet! But before you know it you will get there! Good luck!

If you do a search for 1.5 you will find tons of info about it, but Kslosingit is right. 1.5 is where you add back either one fruit or one carb the first week after phase 1. You eat the same thing all week(some do 3-4 days) and see if you have any cravings or if especially with carbs if your hungry when you should be comfortably full. I can't eat cereal in the am. I will eat it and 30 min later I feel like I am starving. After your week is up then the next week you try the opposite if you had fruit then you try a carb. You slowly work your way up to 3 carbs and 3 fruits a day. But some never get to three because of how they effect there weight loss. You work your way through all types of fruits or carbs to see how your body reacts. It is about getting to know what works for you. Hope this helps.

Take a look at our FAQ section for info on the (unofficial) Phase 1.5. Most of us find its a much smoother transition to p2! but definitely after the first 2 full weeks of p1~!

Thanks so much everyone! I start Phase 2 on Monday but was hoping to have fruit earlier...if we were allowed. I didn't see anything about 1.5 being another "type of phase" I just thought that it meant a week and a 1/2. Thanks so much for all your help-I really appreciate it!
Happy losing everyone!
