Six more weeks of winter would still be an early spring around here!

Spring is fine walking weather! The sooner spring comes the better. I'll be careful at Subway. I've come too far to go back now.

Good for you Okie! My eyes got big when I read you were going there, I avoided there (even though it's great for the kids) because none of their breads are 100% whole grain. They can make anything into a salad, which were good, but to me weren't filling (probably because they're mostly iceberg). Personally, I'd have a good filling snack like cashews on hand if I either stayed hungry, or were hungry shortly there after. We're proud of you!

Kara - I keep thinking...looking at your exercise page...what's your body fat percentage? As much as you work out (and this goes for cyndi too!), I picture you both as being really fit/muscular.

Me - oh, the scale was ugly this am! I don't know if it's bloating (that gets really messed up when I run more) or true. I'll try again in a few days. It did inspire me to make eggs for breakfast though! I kept debating how to cut back...I think I'll do the low/no grains but keep the fruit...that seems to keep me happy.

Off to work. SOrry I didn't do personals for all...

Good morning everyone... getting a late start again today. No school for kids again today- 2 hour delay for teachers but my little one is still sick so I am home again today.
Foodobsessed: Have fun at Subway-sounds like you've got your plan to stay OP!

Kara, Twynn and Chelby: Good morning, and the scale will move soon- I know!

Cottage- My husband has become quite the gardener around here- I am already looking forward to squash, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers fresh from his little garden! What do you grow?

Heidi- Have fun in Kindergarten today!

Ruthxx- Have fun cleaning out your space...I have an extra room that has turned into a junk/storage space and I so need to clean it out!

Cyndi- Kayaking sounds like fun!

Morning Waistingtime, Lexxiss, MmcKellan and everyone else....

Happy Tuesday!

Morning all - no time for personals. Stayed home AGAIN today and need to desperately catch up on some work.

GH is a fav of mine too and I've been lucky to be able to watch this last week. Which is a good ending to the last year or so.

Going to try to eat something and wait until 9a when the doctor's office opens so I can call and get some new meds. Snow due today and again on Friday! UGH.

Have a great day ladies. While Phil says more winter, Staten Island Chuck says early spring!

Auston said, "I hope the groundhog doesn't see his shadow. It's been winter LONG ENOUGH!" I feel his pain!

Sneaking in from school to let you know that our paper groundhogs saw their shadows on the playground this morning. Today is one of the sunniest days we've had in weeks. lol

Shadow or no shadow, it makes no difference to me, I live where we have snowstorms in April.

Good morning everyone! I completely forgot it was Groundhog day until I read these posts! I guess Phil saw his shadow, but here in NJ it is cloudy. Maybe spring will still come early to us!

Today is my weigh in day and I am down a little over a pound from last week, so 6 more weeks of winter or not, I am still having a good start to my day! (well, after I got my whining kids out the door for the bus...they were in rare form this morning!)

Only 8:00 and I am having a crappy day Water dispenser in the fridge stopped working... we can live without it, even though we used it tons, but is the fridge's death imminent? That will cost lots to replace. Then I tried to fix something on the new PC and screwed something up and it took DH and me an hour to find a solution. No more trying to do it by myself! I am lowering my stress by being on here

Heidi - no TVs for me in college either... just one in the union building, tuned to GH and then one in the sorority house. I also remember sitting watching the start of MTV. Now college kids have all sorts of toys with them! Nothing like little kids to put things in perspective and find joy in mundane life. Happy Groundhogs Day to you and your class!

Mmc - Sounds like a great workout plan. I treated myself to a trainer years ago, with a friend, and it helped me learn a lot. Now my mom and I work out with one once a week (which she treats me to... a 40th birthday gift that she is still giving over 6 years later).

Debbie - Who are the aprons for?

Ruth - It sure is easier to get on here early! I can never get rid of suitcases. Funny, I love to toss other stuff. DH is a pack rat and I am the opposite.

Chelby - Disney - how fun! How old is Auston?

Good morning Twynn. Darn those scales!

Hope your little one gets better soon, Litar. I hated it when my kids were sick. Still do - and they are teens!

Jenn- Hang in there. Hopefully you will have some answers soon. Tomorrow?

Hello K - Glad to see the scale is moving for someone

Have a great day all.

Yesterday was horrible and of course I cheated. At least I know, 100% for sure that there is an emotional attachment to food.

Karen, do you have a home warranty? My mom has one for her house and it has saved her a ton of money. Her house appliances are OLD, but every time something stops working she calls, and for I think around $60, the company comes out and fixes the problem. Supposedly if they can't fix it, they will replace the appliance for you. I can get the name of the company from her if you want. I don't know if I could live without my ice/water dispenser!
I hope your day gets better!

I forgot it was GH day too!! Living in Phoenix this winter has made it so that I don't care if its 6 more weeks of winter. lol.

Well there isn't enough coffee in the world for me today. I need a good stretch and a swift kick to get me going... Any volunteers =)

I also forgot my debit card and have no money for breakfast so... I am eating a banana. Hope that doesn't come back to bite me!
