Greetings fellow Beachers. My name is Cyndi and I am a slug. No, seriously - I'm skipping yoga again this week. I just have no motivation to get my butt out and to class Monday nights since the break. I will toss a video in and get some yoga practice anyway, but I know that isn't the same. I need to break this cycle because I know yoga is good for me. Ever just feel like you don't want to deal with a bunch of other people? I think I'm a closet hermit
Other than that confession I made it through Monday so I think I should get a tiny little gold star.

Chelby - Hope the training lives up to your expectations. Good trainings can really energize you.

Ruth - either the bridge wasn't too bad or they installed wifi Glad you're home with the family again.

Schmoodle - It's definitely fall around here. I love fall and hope it lasts several months (maybe until an early spring in April?!)

Debbie - Hope you got everything done without too much stress

Sophie - Here's to an easier and mellow day for you. What do you do with your apples?

KO - There are lots of good crock pot recipes online. I have found most of my faves just by googling "crockpot" plus whatever food I want to cook.
I'd be terrible at the cook book thing. I'd have to actually measure things

Laurie - Glad the weekend was such a success

Barb - Wow, and I gave my daughter lunch money instead of making one lunch

Mere - I've always wanted to visit New Zealand. I hear you have some interesting birds.
My favorite desserts all involve plain Greek yogurt with add-ins - peanut butter, cocoa, agave, almond extract, and now pumpkin apple butter. It always tastes like pudding if I start with the yogurt and I do love pudding.

Now I'm going to put peppers in my dehydrator so something useful ends up coming out of this evening.

Hi Everyone

I made it through my day OP . Wish I could lose that one pound. We picked tomatoes and Mom brought zucchs so we're loading the dehydrator. I hope to have an early night. It's was pretty hot today and I got a bit of sunburn at the pool.

Cyndi, I ditched yoga last week but made it today. I'll kick you in the butt next week.

MMaiden, thanks for joining us on the daily thread. I have good dessert suggestions, but only did jello and SF fudgesicles on P1. It took me about 6 weeks OP then I realized I no longer needed something sweet after dinner, so I don't make as much as I used to.

Barb, I was commenting about not taking Sundays off, but you take the cake. The camp sounds fun!

Beachgal, I always like seeing you on the daily!

Kierie, Cyndi is right, just google. There are tons of recipes. I'm going to do a chicken and rice crockpot this week. I left the breasts on the bone.

Sophie, Thanks for the recommend on the hat book. That looks super dooper fun!! I'm going to order it soon!

See you all tomorrow!

Lexiss-- Wish we had fudgesicles here in NZ-- so few choices for SF ice creams/popsicles here-- would be a great moneymaker for someone to release them here!
Thanks for the suggestions Cyndi-- we do have fantastic birds here and scenery too...

Meremaiden - we don't do SF or low fat dairy very well in NZ. You either have it or you don't - heck even the cream there has a far higher fat content than in Aus and a completely different flavour from anywhere else I have been except maybe some of the European countries like Germany, Holland or Switzerland.

I find that if I buy the 'real stuff' like Toppa or Homer Hudson, I can mix it half and half with the lower fat gunk and it still tastes good. Better still, make it yourself and you can leave out a few calories if you wish. I'm mean about it. I have the real stuff as a real treat and then only after weigh in day so I can attempt to get rid of the result before the next weigh in.

Same with cheese - half full fat and half flavourless lo fat and you cut the calories without losing the flavour.

Good luck and I send my best to dear old Wellington. Just love that city. Christchurch is home town, but I spent a lot of my life in Wellington.
