MrsB! If you are on Phase 1, you should be eating until you feel satisfied. Don't worry about calories as long as you are eating on plan and within the guidelines. Including legumes and dairy in your daily diet will help keep you feeling full, too. Try a piece of string cheese wrapped with deli luncheon meat or lettuce leaves, or some hummus with raw veggies dippers for a 'tween-meal-snack. By your third or fourth day, your body will be more adjusted and in-tune with this plan, and you'll be feeling great!
Also, as we strongly advise our Newbies, please read the book before you get started so you'll know the fundamentals of this plan. Good luck!

Hi, I'm new here. My name is Maria and I am 37 years old. I am on day one of phase one. So far, so good. I think my main cravings are going to happen in the evenings. I usually like to drink beer and snack on sweets (cookies, ice cream, chips) several hours after dinner. I bought a big case of unflavored mineral water, peppermint tea and V8 Spicy to reach for when I feel like I need something to sip on. Does anyone else have any good Phase 1 beverages to try? I don't like the way most artificial sweeteners taste...

Thanks!

I can't believe the day is almost over. I have been on the go all day today and the evening was too busy.

Cottage - do you know where the KOA campgrounds are. DH and I have camped there many times, just love driving all the small roads there and Longwood Gardens is a favourite too.

Kim - its nice to hear from you, I have been wondering how you are.

everyone else, sorry too tired to personals hope to catch up tomorrow.
take care
Sophie
