There is a bucket of tootsie rolls sitting on the table across from my desk. It calls my name! But, I'm going to eat this big, fat apple instead. I absolutely eat when I'm bored. It's a terrible habit.

I did great at lunch, we went to a local restaurant that makes the best individual pizzas and brownie desserts. I stayed away and got a salad and no dessert. Took an immense amount of reminding myself to stick to plan.

I'm impressed you can have the bowl there and not touch it! I will try to follow your example. Today, at work, a coworker was cooking "something" starchy. Not even sure what it was, but I had to actually put my hand over my nose and mouth and run away!! It felt like the best thing I'd ever smelled in my life!! As soon as I was away, I was fine. I sat in my car and did deep breathing exercises until I knew I was ok. I felt like an addict! I was still glad I ran away though! That plate can't have held anything healthy.

We're trying to move to Florida. I know I speak of my undying NEED to live there, but we actually have about a 2 month window where we could do it, if I can find work there.

I've been applying like crazy down there for anything that will be able to support us, and also applying for things up here (full and part time) in case our window of opportunity passes us by. Then I can just shovel money away, whittle down the credit card, and we can have a big nest egg to take with us to Florida.

Have a phone interview for a district manager position at 11am tomorrow. Also have another company my friend Angie works for calling me tomorrow to set up a face-to-face interview sometime. I also aced the testing at my bank for a position there.

Do I want to be a district manager and make $$$$$ but have to travel all the time? Do I want to be a head teller and not make much, but work banker's hours? Do I want to work with Angie and be a csr, typing and answering phones a lot, making about the same pay as the teller?

Any happy thoughts and prayers are appreciated! Obviously no job offers yet but I just ponder all the different options.

Weezle, What part of Florida? I love Florida. We go the Panama City Beach every year. I don't know that I could live there. Sand and tourists....

Will keep you in my prayers Weezle! I want to move to the coast, but preferably the carolina coast... I know I could find a good job at a tourist spa at the beach somewhere... but I am not sure how easy a Chemist job would be to find for dh at the beach!

Pook- love the name btw! Where are you in TN? I am in central tn too- surrounding Nashville area... I am originally from Cookeville...
