Back and ready for a nap! The colonoscopy went well although there was a long wait. The surgeon found absolutely nothing! Last time he found some non-malignant polyps. I guess my Fibre 1, blueberry and yogurt breakfasts are a good idea.

By the way, I did not lose a thing from the prep! There is too much salt and crud in the liquid you have to drink so I'm in bigtime water retention.

Ruth, I'm glad it's over. Have a nice nap.

Moncheree, I had a colposcopy about 3 years ago. It's not something I'd want to do everyday, but it's not as bad as you are thinking. I ended up having a LEEP procedure for dysplasia and have had clear pap smears since. It's good they are checking into potential problems early -- before you need surgery or worse. Take deep breaths.

I'm just stopping by to say a quick "I'm still here!!!" shout!

We've just gotten internet at our staff bunkhouse here in Seward, Alaska - and it couldn't have gotten here soon enough! But if I don't get off 3FC I will be LATE for WORK!

Glad you're okay, Ruth! And I hope to check up with the rest of the chickies soon!

I really have not disappeared off the face of the earth but I'm knee deep in Twilight Camp stuff. I did training last night and had so much paperwork turned in that I have spent all day until now getting it entered into the database (and running sex offender checks on all the adults). I'm not even going to worry about filing it right now.

The next training is tonight but hopefully we won't get as much turned in since I have to pick up the t-shirts tomorrow and start sorting 699 shirts into 40 packs. It's less than 3 weeks now so it will really take over my life.

Cyndi, it was a cashew cookie bar and it had a different texture than the other ones I've tried so I thought there must be some other ingreds in there - just looked it up and it is only dates and cashews! I could really get hooked on those things - have you ever tried making your own with your dried fruit? I make something similar at Christmas - fruit and nut balls.

Why did nobody tell me that 22 was the hardest age for raising children? I swear I am making an appointment with a therapist for that girl, I think she has mental health issues and she is making me crazy as well. Hopefully 23 isn't worse!
