I am very upset with my scale. It says I gained 1.6 lbs but I was SO GOOD! No TOM, got all my water, watched my calories, ate all my veggies, didn't go overboard on sodium, you know the drill. I even stepped on it like 3 times because I didn't believe it.

They need a drop-kick-the-scale smilie.

So, I exercised and actually did weights on Saturday for the first time in like 4 months, and now I remember why I waited that long to go back. It's been THREE DAYS and I still can barely move my arms and my pecs are super sore. I can barely put a jacket on, let alone lift anything (including Little Guy.)

Well, have a busy day ahead of me. Going to do some work around the house, go to the grocery store, feed the fam, and then have an appointment tonight. Say a little prayer for me! And yell at the scale for me, too.

Good morning, everyone!

Cat: I'm glad you had a great time in the reunion and you do look stunning!

Cottage: I hope that you have a great day in spite of the fog and rain!

Ruth: Poor Disney. Hope it "clears up" soon. Enjoy your day and I reallly hope you have some rest planned after all of that traveling!

Cyndi: I'm with you. I usually don't like the rain, but we're really needing it right now. I hope you enjoyed your big breakfast and are having a great day!

Chelby: Enjoy the fundraiser. I'm sure it will be a wonderful time. Auston is too cute! Too bad he doesn't know that calling mom a teenager isn't exactly an insult! Lol!

Twynn: Happy belated birthday! I'm sorry that there hasn't been any news on the house.

Schmoodle: She's 94?! I never would have guessed it! Enjoy your day and thanks for the beautiful pics!

Pearl: Enjoy wfh! Hope both the kiddos have a great time at their sporting activities!

Heather: I hope it cools down for you as well! We're expecting 98 tomorrow. Sigh. Looks like we skipped Spring and went straight to Summer.

Sophie: 7 closets?! I don't think I could stand that! I'd never be able to find anything. Good luck getting through them all.

Stacy: I'm not a doctor or anything, but that does sound like it could be related to blood pressure, among other things. I hope that you do go to the doctor or that you just start feeling normal again soon.

, me4life! Have a great day!

Lisa: Prayers going your way! Sorry about the scale. Mine tends to be a booger sometimes, too. Maybe it's muscle mass?

Me: Work is busy still, but I had to take a break from crunching numbers for a minute. My eyes are becoming crossed from all the columns of digits. Sigh. At least this part of my job will be over soon.

Other than that, I had a NSV today! I'm wearing my "next-size-down" jeans and I tucked my shirt in!!! Everyone noticed how slender I looked the second I stepped foot in the office. It really feels great! And no muffin-top with the smaller jeans, either! Hallelujah!!!!

Kim - your NSV moment is prtty exciting. You are doing so well.

Stacey - I had something similar last year and it turned out to be an inner ear infection. I had no pain to give me any indication that's what it was. Check it out with your dr. it can be quite a number of things.

Lisa - since you did weights, maybe its muscle.

Tiling is going good so far, I am super super sore today from lifting the 18" tiles and putting the mastic down...so no more squatting today- prob be back at it tomorrow night after work! Ya know, that's what I've been calling them, but I just googled bluebells, and that's not what they are. Anybody know?

Nope. They are a bulb. Grape hyacinths, I think. More info to follow.

ETA: Yup!

Thanks for clearing that up Ruth! They were here when I got here, but they are spreading like crazy. At least I can call them b the right name now. I think they're cute, but between DH and the kids I never get to enjoy them for long. They're in a bad spot.

When they finish blooming, cut off the flower stalks and dig up a patch and move them to where you can see them next year. No fuss - just dig them up and bung them in with some watering.
