  • Ha, you chicks are funny. When I send a work email, I have to double check to make sure I didn't use LOL, FWIW, or IMO. Don't want them to know where I spend all my spare time!
  • Chel - DH's mom's maiden name is Thibodeaux as well. Being a yankee, I think it is hilarious how things are pronounced differently just in this little triangle of the state. A friend of mine in Minnesota has the last name Hebert (pronounced hE-berT) -- imagine my surprise when I learned that down here it is pronounced a-bear!

Thankfully, I understand how the french language works and was able to put it together pretty quickly although I still have to ask DH pronunciations on things once in awhile.

I think if DH posted here, he would lovingly refer to me as BW...I'll let you guess what the "B" stands for ...and if you're thinking "Big"...shame!

alright, enough fooling around -- time to get dinner on the table!
  • Finally made here. I had a hairdresser appointment today and before I get my haircut I always colour my hair(blonde) so that the ends get clipped and it doesn't get too overprocessed.
Ruth - I too have a black stove. It is ****. I have had a white and stainless steel one and of all the stoves the white one was the easiest to keep clean.
I guess I don't use the email system that often to know all the abbreviations but boy when I text message I have figures out how to be very efficient.
Tomorrow DH and I are going to a breakfast buffet at the Niagara Falls Casino and afterwards I will indulge in one of my vices. I never really win. Steve hates those machines and takes along a book and reads in a lobby while I lose money.

  • Sophie - I have a black ceramic/glass top stove. I loathe it. I cannot keep the thing clean for anything. It will be the death of me.

    I'm craving something sweet...maybe a faux blizzard?
  • Hey guys! I read through the personals but am way to tired to respond to them all tonight! Sorry!

Today was a busy day at work then I came home and made Mexican fod, and in the process managed to slice 2 fingers trying to get the pit out of an avocado... one was really bad and right between the fingers on my wedding ring.. I saw the one first on my middle finger and thought- oh thats not too bad, why the heck does it hurt so much, shook my finger and then looked again and there was blood all over my wedding rings! UGH...Bet thats going to hurt tomorrow at work doing hair color!!!!

My poor big headed dog is sick too, I came home from work and he keeps stretching his hind legs and just looking like he can't get comfortable, then vomits a *huge* amount of dog food from this morning. It had been at least 11 hours since he had been fed, so something is wrong for him not to have digested it. I think we will have to take him for xrays in the morning, I am afraid something may be obstructed since it doesn't seem that he digested any of his food... ugh, another bill when work is slow... but He's one of my babies! I knew they werent cheap when I got him! I just hope he doesn't ned surgery- we'll cross that bridge when we come to it though! wanna think positive right now!
