Hey Beachers!

I got a quick question. I have done Phase 1 before and had decent results...well, here I go again. I drink a protein shake in the morning and in the past I have put Skim milk in it - 8-16 oz (while I was doing Phase 1 the first time). Anywho,the book said no milk in Phase 1 but we know how the books don't always tell it all. I found out that Skim Milk has 12 g of sugar in ever 8 oz serving. I don't want to mess up, I want to do this right.


Anyone else do milk in Phase 1???

milk is allowed in p1... its accounted for in your dairy

Milk is now allowed in Phase 1. I believe the first book said that it wasn't allowed, but it has since been changed.

The sugars in milk are from lactose -- not sucrose.

Thanks Ladies!! I do have the FIRST version of the book. I thought I heard you all talking about milk on Phase 1!! I am so happy I didnt want to drink my protein with water! I am going to search here for the allowed foods...since there might have been some changes since the first version. Thanks for the speedy response and clarifying that for me!!!
