SBD Sass, while Flaxseed oil is a healthy, good oil with Omega 3's (but it has ALA, not the really essential EPA and DHA), it probably won't affect your constipation at all.
Flaxseed meal, a.k.a. ground flaxseeds (not whole flaxseeds, which just pass right through you--make sure they are ground before you eat them or you get nothing from them!) might help you because of the fiber it contains.
