So I had a meeting tonight at my son's school. It was supposed to be an informative meeting, explaining what an IEP was, the terms, general questions,etc. Turns out only myself and one other mom attended. It was great! I got great one-on-one time with the principals of my son's school. We got to discuss my concerns. We are having a meeting to discuss his IEP in detail soon as a result of tonight's meeting. They want to help me get more help for DS. It was awesome! They asked if I would be interested in being apart of the parent advisory board to give feedback and opinions. Thinking about it. It was a long day, hard to get everything done, but proved to be so worth it in the end!!
Then I went XMas shopping and my kids are almost 100% done!! YIPEE!
Off to bed. Hopefully I'll be able to get up in the AM for them gym!
