  • OK, so I can't wear the interview outfit I wore yesterday to the same place today! So I dug into my closet and found a 14P that my sister gave me years ago that she found in a second hand shop. I tried it on, and guess what!!!!!!!! I think it'll work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now, 14P are a little smaller than regular 14s so you can guess my amazement when I was able to do up the jacket!!!!!!!! .
  • Loriann congrats on the 14 and good luck with the interview - keep us posted
  • Jen what an adorable Dora your lil girl is to cute. Now get back on track missy we are cheerin you on
  • Thanks Gonnabe! I need the cheering!!
Just keep telling myself... I CAN DO THIS. I CAN DO THIS. Why repeat previous Halloween's that got me into this mess?!? In the end, the candy and junk doesn't even taste that good!!

I think my Dora is cute too! Thanks for the comment.
  • I'm thankful for my awesome Family. family Nutty DH Even Crazier Mom and My sis whos really together and relatively normal. me? I'm a wackjob but it makes life fun!
I'm thankful for dh and I both have decent Jobs
I'm thankful for my Kitties who treat me like a rockstar/center of their universe
I'm thankful for all my friends both in the flesh and on screen!
Ruth I've been praying for you all week sweet Lady. All our love to you

I'm hopign to get out earlier today so no time for personals but I had a thought
Kara's veggie goal inspired me to set a nonscale goal for next week
Would you all want to do a goal thread?
  • I'll be back after I get taco bake in for my son and his friend, no, I do not expect left overs! Never is with the two of them. And for those who think I eat this a lot, it's been over two months since I made it!

I wanted to stop in to say .... It's all but a done deal! The lady I interviewed with yesterday sat me down before the boss came in and told me she was most impressed with my application and answers in interview. And the owner gave his approval of me! They were talking money and drug testing. She wants to call my references and as I walked out, I quote... "You WILL be hearing from me!!!:"

  • Lori that's fantastic!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
  • Jenski, your little "Dora" is simply adorable! Look at those cheeks! Send all that extra candy to work with your DH, or freeze it. And when I'm craving brownies, I make myself a pan of the Bean Brownies. They taste just as good as the real thing, especially when topped with a little FF Cool Whip.

    Congratulations, Lori!
  • Jenski – In years past Halloween has been my downfall or the slip that started me down the slop. The first time I can remember being so surprised because I didn’t even think of it as a potential problem. For the past two years I handed out Play Dough so I wouldn’t be tempted and this year, I guess as a testament to being totally detoxed on SBD I have two bags of candy sitting in the living room that I haven’t even looked at or thought about and it is Halloween tomorrow already. Maybe you should think about going back on Phase 1 for a week to see if you can’t get the desire out of your head. I feel so bad for you because I know how difficult this can be.

    Lori –

Weezle – as much as I would love to have DH quit smoking I’m not sure I would want to go through it with him. He is such an easy guy to live with … unless he decides he is going to cut back. I think if he ever makes up his mind to go for it again I’m going to highly recommend he does it during hunting season … out in the middle of the woods with his buddies. Miles away from civilization and his devoted wife.

Zeff – a giraffe sounds just too cute.

Ruth -- I've beening thinking about you all day.

Well I’m thankful for our health and the cozy home DH, the pugs and I share. I’m thankful for our children and grand children and that they are all healthy and relatively well adjusted considering who raised them. I would be just a little more thankful if I could get Peanut to stop marking the corner of my bed, he’s lucky he is such a lover the little snot.

Pretty non-eventful day today, my eating is perfectly as planned, I weight trained this morning and walked 3 miles during lunch. I get to go home and relax this evening.
  • It's unbelievable how one slip up leads to another and another and so on.
I have worked so hard these last 2 months. Can't blow it on one day!
And my kids don't need it either. I'll let them have their fun tomorrow. I'll let them have a few pieces this weekend. By Monday, DH can take the rest to work, otherwise I am throwing it out. No one in this house needs to anymore. I am thinking of going back to phase 1 just for a few days to get clean again. I need to grocery shop anyway, so might as well stick to phase 1 for a little while and get rid of all the cravings.
Love this site! Thanks for the support.

Loriann - I am so excited for you!! Keeping my fingers crossed that everything keeps moving at this pace and you are back in a job with excellent benefits before you know it!
