I didn't want to post this when I was away but must do it now.

When I was in NC, Hershey had to be put to sleep. She developed a massive blood infection and it would have taken aggressive treatment with only a minimal chance of success to treat her. I had to make a very hard decision last Thursday. Dear Margo of the Hyper Pypers was with her at the end. Hersh was cremated and I'll go to Ottawa to get her ashes next week. She'll be buried under to dogwood tree at the Church along with Lucy.

I'm closing this post so no need to comment. Most of us have been through this so I know you empathize. Disney must have been sent to me for a reason because she sure is helping me with my grieving.
