Happy 4th of July- We went to the VP Parade in St. Louis and then to the VP fair for awhile- it was good- on the way home we rented movies and are now just chilling at home. Have a great evening

I did it - I finally got my hammock out and it was better than I remembered.

Other than that I exercised and refused to do anything productive (like laundry or gardening). It was nice to have a day to do what I wanted. We are off to the fireworks in a few.

Hmacneil - Sorry for using lingo - I work with child care providers or day care providers (a term we don't use). I only get to work with the kids when I'm modeling, usually during literacy visits (books and projects!).

Hello,
Well I woke up this morning with the phone ringing... a friend was bit by a scorpion last night... not once but twice! and endured the pain till daylight before calling anyone! I've spent the whole morning helping her get adequate pain management...she's home sleeping. Scorpion bites cause horrible pain for 36+ hours... I have never experienced it, nor would I wish it on anyone else!
I'm off to play in my garden... Sleep deep everyone!
