This is the view from our balcony last year. Not sure if we will be in the same building but we will be on the third floor again

I'm back from my mammo, and it was quick and completely painless. And, believe me, I'm generously endowed! I'm munching on a late breakfast of Nessa Bars and my third big mug of coffee this morning. Once that all settles, I plan to do the 3 mile WATP with weights. Maggie is going home with a friend after school for a playdate, so there's no rush to get over there today.
Brrrr! It's chilly and windy outside today, but the sun is shining!

Nessa, ugh, two big glassfuls of barium! I hope your CAT scan goes well, and that the results are good.

Cyndi, I don't think the fried clams will cause too much damage, especially if they're going to be your only indulgence. You have me all excited about Maine, and I can't wait until my trip up there in August!

Kim, good for you for being determined to stay on your budget, despite MIL's whims! I hope you have a nice time while she's visiting you.

Schmoodle, isn't it too bad that it's only after we've eaten something off-plan that we feel sick? In a perfect world, I wish there was a way we could get a bad reaction to a no-no food by just looking at it! I hope you're feeling better this morning, though.

Natalie's Mom, it must be a sort of bittersweet day for you, going back to work. I hope you have a great first day back, and the wee ones adjust to the new schedule!

Morning All! Happy Monday!
Cottage - Great job this weekend w/ your food. Good to hear that it's already paid off and the jeans fit comfortably again.

tk - Good job planning out your exercise. Sounds like you're not giving yourself an out. And since the DD is up, you definately can exercise like you want. Have a good time at the gym.

Cat - Your dh sounds like me when I've had a few too many.....NO FILTER. I just talk and talk. My dh finds it quite funny. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, I let it all out. So jealous that you only have one more week. Like cottage was saying, I go until June 20th. But that will be here in no time.

TwynnB - Sorry that your kiddos are not feeling well. Sounds like you've got a really understanding workplace. Hopefully the day will go by quickly for you and him!

Ruth - Good to hear that you're relaxing today. You've been so busy, you've earned it. So you're thinking about getting Hershy a buddy. Fun for you (and Hersh). What kind of pup are you thinking of getting? Enjoy your rest today!

Nessa - Good luck with the CAT scan today.....so what phase is barium in??? I hope it all goes well.

Cyndi - How did your asparagus turn out? I hope you got your fill of it. Have a great time in Maine.....will you be around here or are you unplugging completely? Be sure to savor your oysters......SO GOOD!

Kim - Hope you have a good Monday. It sounds like you've got a lot on your plate, but it's all manageable. Good job getting back on track.

Schmoodle - Sometimes we have to cheat in order to remember why we shouldn't. I'm sure the Klondike bar tasted great....but it sounds like your tummy wasn't so pleased after the fact. I hope you're feeling better today.

Nat's Mom - Congrats on the weight loss. Enjoy this last week at home.

Me - I don't know if you all have heard but we are having record breaking temps here. This weekend was so hot! And at the gallery there were so many people that the a/c wasn't keeping up. I'm really hoping that it cools down this week. I did good this week and lost 2 more pounds. I'm happy with that loss. Slow and steady wins the race, right! So today I'm back at my real job. Nothing on the docket, as far as I can remember. And then I've got to go grocery shopping (as I did not do that yesterday, I was TOO TIRED). And I think we're going to do a load or two of laundry as well. I pray that everyone here has a wonderful Monday and a great week ahead!
ENJOY!

UGHHH I dislike having mammos done. It's not that they hurt, it's just that I have to go for one every 6 months, then get a biopsy done after that. I have a benign tumor that they are watching closely. So I have the regular mammo - which takes about 30 min, then an ultra sound - another 30 min, then I get to go have my boob cut open, and samples of tissue taken... What joy is that? My whole morning is shot, and by that point, I'm too sore to even put my bra back on, so no work for me... Just advil, and a heating pad.

And I've got to schedule another one in about 5 weeks

Oh well... my software just got here - just in time for lunch!!! LOL So now the mad rush starts, and testing begins!!!

Hope everyone has a great OP day!

I am back from the gym.....I got an hour and a half worth of workout before both children started crying. Woohoo. I don't know what happened to DD. Last week she was loving "playtime" at the gym but today she just cried and cried. She wasn't happy at all. Now I can tell it's gonna be a struggle to workout. But I still have nights too when Leo comes home from work. Where's Kara? Haven't heard from her in awhile, is she on her way to germany?

so far...the dogs are clean, and i've cleaned the majority of the house...now have to take the dogs to the kennel, cut the grass, and pack.....oh, and I completely forgot about washing my blue jeans until about 20 minutes go!!! GO ME!!

Mandy - Have a great time on your trip.....And like Cat said, eat lots of Salmon while you're out there!

Mare - Sorry to hear that your mammos are so yucky....I can't imagine. I haven't had one yet, so I'm not quite sure to expect. It's not something I'm looking forward to, but I know it needs to be done. Fortunately I've got a few more years before I have to go in.

DH took most of the day off this morning so I could sleep. I had a really rough night last night. I get "morning sickness" at night, and once I started puking I couldn't stop. I didn't get to sleep until around 3 or so. I was so tired this morning. I woke up, packed a nessa bar in my mouth and went back to sleep. I just woke up about a half hour ago and took a shower to get rid of the sleep drunken feeling that I had.

After DH gets home from work in a few hours, we're going to go for a hike. One thing that keeps me from feeling really bad is exercise. I guess that is a plus! Now, I just have to focus on eating the right things even though I'm not hungry because of the sickness or too tired to really cook anything. Ugh. I hate the first trimester.

Hello ladies! I am taking lunch now, so I didn't get to read all your posts. It seems to be a good Monday, but hectic Monday for most! I am new to the site and still finding my way around.

I am so excited. This is Day 6 of SB and I have lost 2 pounds (since the last time I recorded). The scales have not really tipped downward for me since December...they have kept going up and up and up! So today is a great Monday for me!!
